ICC - 09 Missing You

The next Day
Mingyu woke up early to prepare for school. He hopes that wonwoo finally came out of his room. He went to the university and waited for him outside of his classroom. He waits until wonwoo will go to his class.

After a few minutes there was no wonwoo who showed up in class. Until he saw Seungcheol. "Hey... Cheol where's Wons?" Mingyu nervously asked. "As you can see his not going to school. He still hasn't come out of his room" Seungcheol coldly replied. Showing no emotions, which made Mingyu even more nervous.

Mingyu just went to his class and texted Wonwoo before sitting down.

Good morning Pretty!
I heard you hadn't come out yet
Please take care of yourself
I will take down notes for you
I love you! 💕  - Mingyu

Mingyu took his phone away while the professor started his lecture. " As you can see Mr Wonwoo won't be joining us for today, due to personal reasons. Let us start today's lecture". Mingyu just took notes for Wonwoo and if there is homework, he will do it for Wonwoo.

After a while ,it was lunch break.
Mingyu went to the cafeteria and joined his friends. His friends started to get worry of him because he was not eating. "Hey... I'm sure Wons will be fine... Why don't you eat first?" Minghao offered some of his lunch. "No thanks... I'm not in the mood" Mingyu said and just lean his head on the table.

A girl come up to him and gave him a bento box that contains a cookies she baked. " Hey Gyu! I made you cookies, Want some?" The girl said while offering him some treats. It was also one of the girls who bullied Wonwoo.
He just looked at her from head to toe, judging her. He took the bento box and threw it to the ground. "Don't fucking talk to me! I know what you did!" Mingyu just took a glass of water and splashed it to the girl.

The girl just ran away crying out of the cafeteria. His friends just looked at him with a shocking look. "Why did you do that? She was offering you some treats" Minghao says trying to wipe the table that had water spills on it.
"Well she was one of the girls who bullied Wonwoo" Mingyu furiously said and stood up and exits the cafeteria.

He went to the library to calm himself down. The library reminded him of Wonwoo. Their first lunch date was at the library. He sat on the chair and texted wonwoo.

I also did your homeworks and projects for today!
Can we talk? I'll go there later after class.

The bell rang, mingyu stands up and went back to the classroom.
And after his class he went to Wonwoo's house. But he didn't expect something that would actually hurt him. "Uh good afternoon ma'am, is Wonwoo here?" He asked the maid. "I'm sorry sir, Mrs Jeon and their son are currently in the hospital".  The maid said politely and closed the door.

Mingyu went to the hospital and looked for Wonwoo's room. He finally found the room. He knocked gently and was greeted by Wonwoo's mother. "Good afternoon Mrs Jeon, may I see wonwoo?" Mingyu asked politely.
"Of course Gyu, I'll leave you to it okay? I'll be getting some fresh air". Mrs Jeon said and left the room.

Mingyu walk towards Wonwoo whose laying unconscious on the bed. He caress Wonwoo's hand and kissed it gently. "I'm sorry.... I failed to protect you..... I'm sorry about Somi.... I was supposed to take care of you... But looks what happened...." Mingyu didn't notice he was already tearing up. As he was crying Infront of Wonwoo. The door opened and it revealed Seungcheol.

"Cheol...." Mingyu bowed politely and wiped his tears. "Leave" Seungcheol coldly said pointing out the door. "Don't ever see Wons again. If he ever wakes up I'll convince him to break up with you" Mingyu just stood there and kneel Infront of Seungcheol.

"Please..... I still want to see him everyday.... Please Cheol......" Mingyu begged. "I said leave!" Seungcheol shouted. Mingyu gave up and walked slowly to the door. As he left the room , Mrs Jeon approached him . "Where are you going?" She asked. "Thanks for letting me see him Mrs Jeon, but I won't be able to come again near him.... Cheol said that I should never see him... Thank you ma'am and I'm sorry" mingyu politely bowed and left the hospital.

As he drove to his parents house, he was already crying. He cried while running to the living room.  His mother sat beside him and caress his back. " What's wrong Honey?" Mrs Kim asked calmly. " Mom..... I think I just lost the person I love.... I won't be able to see him again...." He cried Infront of his mother. She hugged him tightly and tried to calm him down.

"It's alright.... Can you tell me what happened?" Mrs Kim tries to wipe his tears. "Somi bullied him.... He hasn't come out of his room after that day .... He didn't even eat anything... And now his in the hospital....." Mingyu still cried on his mother's embrace.

"Don't worry... You didn't do anything wrong.... It was your cousin's fault okay?" Mrs Kim tried to calm him down. "But.... I wanna see him..... " Mingyu tried to calm down. "You need to give him some space honey... Why don't you sleep okay? You can try to see him tomorrow okay? And I'll try to talk to your cousin".
Mrs Kim said as she gave Mingyu a kiss on the forehead.
