ICC - Special Chapter #3

A few months had passed. Mingyu met a new co worker and a new job. He is now promoted to CEO of his company. He worked so hard to have this all done.

Meanwhile his lover wonwoo had been alone on their house for some time. He doesn't show his sadness to his lover because he's to embarrassed of the reason. One time he got jealous of his husband's co worker.

They spend time together all the time. Wonwoo couldn't help but feel jealous and possessive. Although his friends talked to him and want him to confront his husband about it. But he's too shy and embarrassed about it.

For the meantime, wonwoo and mingyu are eating together at the dinner table. Mingyu was using his laptop while wonwoo was quietly eating. Once wonwoo finished his meal, he decided to go to his room quietly. Mingyu saw his lover leaving. He decided to stop using his laptop and followed him.

As he open the door, he saw his husband laying on the bed quietly while cuddling his pillow. He was about to approach him but he got a phone call from his co worker. "Hey Mingyu! Just a heads-up, let's meet at the café? We Will talk about the presentation there shall we?" His co worker said on the phone. "Hold on a sec Hannah" he said and went to his lover.

"Wons darling? Mind if I go to a meeting with Hannah now?"  He asked his lover. Wonwoo just nodded and proceeds to close his eyes. "Thanks Hon, I love you" he said giving his lover a kiss on the cheeks before leaving.

While mingyu went to his co worker. Wonwoo went to their backyard to zone out. He sigh and sat on the swing set. While he was zoning out he didn't realise he was already tearing up. Their neighbour saw him crying and approached him.

"Hello dear, what's wrong?" His neighbour asked. Their neighbour is a friendly lady who happens to live with her cats. Wonwoo took a deep breath before speaking. "It's nothing Mrs  Clara. I'm just thinking about something.." he said.

Mrs Clara sat beside him and gave him a hug. "Mind telling me? Maybe I can help you dear" she offered her hand also. "It's just... Me and my husband haven't been hanging out much. And he's now spending much time to his co worker. I understand that it's important job but I'm just not used to it. And I'm worried if he might fall inlove with her. She's so pretty and flawless..." Wonwoo burst into tears.

Mrs Clara hugged him and comforted him. "It's alright dear, you know your husband right? He wouldn't do that to you. And don't worry about it I'll keep an eye on him for you. Can I offer you some Cookies? I made a fresh batch " she offered. "No thank you Mrs Clara. Thanks for the help though. I'll get going now"  wonwoo said and gave her a hug before going to his house.

After a while mingyu arrived back. He parked his car carefully and went to their doorstep. Before mingyu could enter he was called by their neighbour. "Hey Mingyu Dear!" Mrs Clara called him. "Hey Mrs Clara , nice meeting you today. What can I do for you?". Mingyu said offering her a handshake.

"I talked to your husband". She said. "That's nice of you Mrs Clara, isn't my husband wonderful?" Mingyu said. "Yeah, but you need to comfort him. I saw him crying and he told me that you were spending so much time with your co worker. He's been alone everyday. And sometimes I saw him crying on your living room. He's overthinking things too, maybe you should clear things up okay dear?" Mrs Clara explained.

Mingyu also realised what she said. He felt guilty that his husband was alone everyday he would leave. "Oh.. thanks Mrs Clara. Don't worry I'll comfort him. Thanks for talking to him " he said before entering their home.

As he enter their home, it was so quiet. He went upstairs and heard a sound from their bedroom. It was his lover crying.
He slowly opened the door and went beside his lover. "Hey..." He greeted his lover and gave him a hug. Wonwoo continues to cry.

"Why didn't you tell me you we're feeling lonely everyday? " He said trying to wipe Wonwoo's tears. "I didn't want to bother you and I know your work is very important " wonwoo said while crying. "Still... You're important to me, that's why I married you. And I also heard you were jealous of Hannah? Don't worry she's just a friend." He said while hugging him.

"But she's so perfect... So beautiful and flawless..." Wonwoo said while crying. "But I don't see her much more than a friend. Besides you're better and I only have eyes for you" mingyu said and kissed his lover. "I'm sorry... I'm overacting so much..." Wonwoo said while continuing to cry.

Mingyu gave him a warm hug and caress Wonwoo's hair strands. "Hey.... Don't blame yourself. Your feelings are valid my love. It's not your fault okay?"
Wonwoo got quiet while his husband is hugging him.

Mingyu cupped Wonwoo's face and wipes his tears. "I don't like seeing you sad or cry. It makes feel bad. Next time tell me if something's bothering you okay? I'll always listen to you " mingyu kissed his forehead and gave him a smile. Wonwoo nodded and hug his lover back.
