ICC - Special Chapter #2

A few weeks had passed. Mingyu got accepted to his job and was now an engineer. During weekdays he has a lot of shifts. Wonwoo doesn't mind . He understands it's for the both of them. Although they hadn't spend time together because mingyu is busy these days.

"Hey Darling , don't forget our date night later okay?" Wonwoo said while hugging his husband. "Yes I won't honey, I got to go now bye and I love you" Mingyu hugged him back and gave a kiss before going out.

Time skip: 9:00PM

Wonwoo was waiting for his husband in the living room. He was all dressed up. Another hour had passed and mingyu still isn't there. Wonwoo decided to change his clothes. "He must be very busy..." Wonwoo thought to himself.

After 2 more hours mingyu arrived back to their home. He saw Wonwoo on the living room watching TV. Wonwoo stand up and slowly went to him.

"Hi darling, what took you so long? We can spend out date night here right?" Wonwoo asked looking at his lover. "I'm sorry my love, let's reschedule. I'm too tired" Mingyu said putting his bag on the table.

"You're always busy... You never have time for me " wonwoo pouted. "Geez! I'm already tired okay? Can't you understand?!" Mingyu shouted. Wonwoo got shocked and tried his best to stay still.

*I.... I'm sorry... I understand..." Wonwoo stuttered trying his best not to cry Infront of his husband.
He quickly wiped his tears. Mingyu realized he yelled at his lover. "Honey wai-" he was cut off by wonwoo. "It's alright....." Wonwoo quickly went to his room upstairs while tearing up.

Mingyu immediately went to Wonwoo's room. He tried to open the door but it was locked. "Darling, can you open the door?" Mingyu said trying to calm down.
"Just go.... Go rest.." wonwoo said not opening the door.

Mingyu then thought of an idea . He quickly went to the kitchen and cooked a meal for both of them. After a few minutes he finished cooking their favourite food. Ramyeon.

He knocked again on the door. "Wons? I made us ramyeons come on let's eat together my love , I'm sorry for what I did" Mingyu said
While Knocking on the door. "go away.... I'm not hungry...." Wonwoo replied. Mingyu heard wonwoo crying in his room.

Mingyu just sigh and went to the kitchen to eat the ramyeon alone.
He opened a bottle of soju to help him with his situation. After he drank the soju, he went to his bedroom.

In the morning

Wonwoo woke up and went to check the rooms upstairs. He didn't saw Mingyu anywhere. "He must've went to work already..." Wonwoo sigh and went to the kitchen to make some coffee.

While he was making coffee, a pair of hands went to his waist. He got scared and turned around and saw his husband hugging him. "Good morning my love, I'm sorry about last night" mingyu said hugging wonwoo by the waist.

"It's alright... I understand... It was my fault anyway.." wonwoo turned back and continues to make coffee. "No... It's my fault.. I should have took a day off . I'm sorry my love if I haven't spend time with you lately. And you've been so understanding... I'm so sorry. I should have made time with you" mingyu said hugging wonwoo tightly.

"It's alright, I forgive you. Now go get ready for work , you'll be late " wonwoo said trying to remove Mingyu's hands. "Nope, I took a leave on my work. Let's spend the day together " mingyu said putting his hand back to Wonwoo's waist.

"Then you should at least use this day off as a rest. We can spend time together next time" wonwoo said but mingyu shake his head. "Come on let's have a date today"
Mingyu said and wonwoo sigh and accepted his offer.

They dressed up and use their car. "So where do you wanna go?"
Mingyu said while driving the car. "Honestly.... I don't know" wonwoo said while looking at the window. Mingyu drove to the nearest cafe. They arrived at the simple and cute cafe filled with cats.

They found a place to sit beside the cats playing inside the cafe. Wonwoo ordered a milkshake while mingyu ordered a coffee.
Mingyu looks at wonwoo playing with the cat . He was admiring him and he didn't notice wonwoo also looked at him.

"What are you smiling at?" Wonwoo asked. "I love seeing you smile.. it's so precious" mingyu said making wonwoo blush. He took Wonwoo's hand and gently kissed it. "I love you Wons, and I'm sorry if I ever hurt you" mingyu said while kissing Wonwoo's hand.

"I love you too Min, this is one of the best date ever. Thank you" wonwoo said and gave Mingyu a kiss on the cheeks.
