Dark Light,Bright Life

chapter 1

"Please god,im begging you to take it all away."she whispered through the tears she was trying to control.She was alone,in a dark bedroom trying to fall asleep.She woke up feeling sick and weak her energy was drained out of her body from the lack of sleep and all those crying.

"Beth!oh my god you look horrible! Is everything ok?"I just nodded in reply but Kathy was my other half so there is no way any lie could pass through her.She looked me in the eyes and said "Beth,i've known you for god knows how long so stop lying to me.how long did it take to fall asleep?"To be honest,i never even counted how long all i know is that it felt like years of pain and suffer.

Later that day,i walked home as usual because somehow i like to be alone but it's dangerous because my mind will start wonder and i'll hurt myself.I stopped at a garden which i would go everytime i'd get stress or just needed to be alone

"Oh god,please please!make it all go away!im begging you take all the the pain,the suffer,everything!please im begging you."was all she managed to say while tears streaming down her face.The sound of tearsdrop dripping in the fountain was the only sound that could be heard.

She was kneeling while sobbing near the fountain when someone came to her and offered a hand.She was suprised to see someone because not many people knew this place,infact she didnt think anyone knew this place.

"Are you alright?"said the man."Hye,im Jason.sorry for disturbing you but i came to see if you were okay?"Beth just stood there blinking.She was speechless,frozen still.No one has ever seen her cry except for Kathy of course.Beth was always great at masking her feelings and she could people with her smile that she was fine.

Beth had been building walls around her heart,a barrier so she wouldn't get hurt again.The hurt and the scars in her heart hasn't heal completely because it will always break and tear apart over and over again.To let someone in means breaking those walls she's been building.After a few minutes,the guy realised that he was talking to himself.Beth was too suprised and caught up in her own world that she forgot that she had company.

"Oh um hi i'm beth,elizabeth."I was scared because duh he's a stranger but that day something told me to just go with it."I'm new here,i was trying to find my new school but look where fate has brought me"he chuckled.I guess he was trying to lighten the mood.
I was wondering where could his new school be when he said "well,i'm going to Baysmore High" and with that i knew that this year is going to turn out dark and painful just like before but maybe worst.

A few weeks went by and i walk with Jason to school everyday since he's still "new" at least that's what he says.He talks a lot and usually i dont mind but this time he hit the nerve "Beth,if you dont mind me asking um why did you cry at the fountain the other day?"Did someone hurt you?I can help you,you can tell me anything."I stopped on my tracks.I was furious!who the hell he thinks he is barging into my life like that?!I just looked at him and ran as fast as i could leaving a suprised and confused Jason behind me.
