Chapter-3

"Abhimanyuuuuu"

I shouted on top of my lungs, this guy always finds a way to get on my nerves, every other second i think of kicking him out of the company but this man is a leech.

One time in rage i fired him but this idiot gave interview in my company and again came to suck my blood, but I can't fire him, he's too good with his work, if we forget his clumsiness.

Abhimanyu is my P.A. from past 2 years and i still didn't get why he can't walk properly.

Hearing my scream he put his both hands on his ears to save his eardrums, than he got up and looked at me with so much innocence and fear on his damn face.

"I..I'm sorry ma'am, I don't how i—

"I tripped on my own feet" I completed his sentence, gosh how can a person trip on their own feet, like seriously!!??

He looked at me apologetically and bowed his head mumbling a sorry again.

"Now clear the mess you've created or else be ready to face the consequences, you just have an hour" he just nodded his head meekly and hate when people don't pay attention to my words.

I came close to him and said "seems like you're very interested to work in the Dungeon, right?"

His eye balls came out of it's socket and he hurriedly said "no no no I'm sorry ma'am, I'll clear this mess, please don't send me to work with that male devil"

"Just an hour" I reminded him before going to my room to get ready for the meeting.

"Trevor, send a navy blue three piece suit for Abhimanyu at the office" I ordered Trevor on call after coming to my room and hung up not waiting for his reply.

After taking a long shower i got out of the bathroom and wore a Tweed cropped black blazer pairing it with same pattern skirt, did my makeup and wore my sandals and than we both drove towards the company.

Right now I'm waiting for Abhimanyu because our beauty queen is taking his time to get ready, it's been 15 minutes he's been in there.

I banged on the restroom's door speaking "Abhimanyu i swear if you don't come out in 5 seconds I'll lock you in there for 3 days, 1–2–3–4–

And before i could speak further the lock clicked and he came out flaunting his glory, grinning ear to ear and those doe eyes look at me expecting a compliment,

But Maya don't give compliments, she take compliments.

I turned and got myself out of the cabin and the next second he was out too holding the file and laptop.

Adjusting my blazer i started walking towards the meeting room, this project is really very important to me because now I've responsibility of 2 companies and after papa's announcement last night the pressure has increased.

Everybody stood up from there seats when I entered the meeting room, whole room is filled with just men, i so want to just run from this place and hide myself somewhere but I can't, i just can't show my vulnerability to anybody.

I took a seat when all of them started introducing themselves to me trying to get a reaction out of me but no, that's not happening, I've mastered in hiding my emotions.

I told them to proceed with the meeting, many companies gave their presentation, but i know who'll be the winner and yes i got the project, i was happy but I'll not show it.

Everyone congratulated me, i knew who was genuinely happy for me and who were showing a facade.

After everybody's dispersal i was too going out when a guy came up to me saying he's P.A. of Mr.Khanna, let me tell you one thing about Khanna, he doesn't have a good history when it comes to women, his P.A. told me that Khanna wants to meet me just for 10 minutes and i knew what was coming.

He came inside but he sent his P.A. out and told me he wants to talk in private so i sent Abhimanyu outside, even though he was refusing but my one glare was enough to shut him up, now we are alone, i hate men, they all want one thing and his smile was telling me that's exactly what he wants but i played cool.

I maintained my distance because I don't wanna have a panic attack in front of him.

Author's Pov:

"Hi, maya, it's a pleasure meeting you" Khanna said with a smile on his face.

"It's Ms.Agnihotri for you" Maya said with arrogance.

Khanna was a little taken aback with her witty reply but he composed himself and spoke "okay okay Ms.Agnihotri, you know in today's world it's really hard for a woman to survive, specially a beautiful woman like you"

Khanna was taking slow steps towards Maya while speaking. He came near her and lifted his hands to push the hair strands on her face aside

"Touch me and you'll go home with one arm, I'll make sure of it" hearing this from her and seeing that confident smirk on her face Khanna got scared and took his hand back but he was not a person to back off this quickly, he wanted to give another shot and that was his biggest mistake.

"Relax young lady, this is a vicious world, you need a man like me to survive in this—

He started speaking and touched his shoes with her sandal and than his words came to an halt and a painful scream came when a bullet pierced his foot the next second and he was lying there holding his foot, blood oozing out from it, he was screaming like a mad man.

Hearing this Abhimanyu and some employees came running inside and were shocked seeing the scene in front of them.

Khanna was screaming holding his feet and Maya was sitting on a chair putting her one leg on the other like a queen, a gun hanging in her hand and the only expression she had was, a smirk.

Everybody was scared and tensed except one, who was non other than Abhimanyu

"Ek aur gaya(one more gone)"
