Chapter-5

I woke up with a jerk, breathing heavily trying to gain some oxygen, my heart was beating so fast almost coming out of the ribcage, my whole body was shivering like i was sitting on a ice block, I started shuffling around me to find it, I shuffled around the nightstand, breaking the lamp in the way, I opened the drawer and found the tablets.

I don't know how many i took, i just stuffed them in my mouth and drank some liquid from a bottle that was lying there, it really burned my throat.

It took me some 10 minutes and finally my breathing got normal, i looked around myself and it was all messed up, fuck anxiety attacks.

That's when I observed the bottle i drank something from, it was Vodka, i drank half the bottle, shit shit shit, I can't take risk of getting drunk right now, I've to work.

I got myself up from the bed thinking to take a cold shower to sober up but my head started feeling dizzy, i was about to open the bathroom door when i heard doorbell going off, I turned my feet towards the door to open it.

Author's Pov:

Maya opened the door finding Abhimanyu there, he was about to greet her but seeing Maya's condition he got worried and took a step forward asking
"Ma'am?? Are you okay?"

Maya just looked at him, till now she was completely drunk and the effect of medication worsened it.

"Ma'am i think we should go to hospital" Abhimanyu said concern lacing his voice.

He took out his phone about to call Trevor but Maya snatched his phone from him, he looked up only to get the shock of his life, Maya was smiling, Abhimanyu was too stunned to speak or react,

Maya giggled and that's when his trance broke, he was about to take his phone from her but Maya showed him tongue and ran from there.

Abhimanyu also ran behind her calling her but she was just laughing and giggling all the way, he wanted to just sit there and listen to her giggles but her health was his top most priority, he knew something was wrong with her.

He was running behind her trying to catch her but Maya was too fast, he gave up and stood there folding his hands above his chest looking at her.

When Maya couldn't heard any movement she turned around only to find Abhimanyu glaring at her, she gulped and stood there with her head down like a kid who's gonna get scolding from her parents.

A small smiled tugged on his lips seeing her like this, he wanted to laugh so bad, he was enjoying this, he wanted to stop this moment right here and watch her till the eternity.

He took a deep breath and moved towards her, he took his one hand in front of her indicating her to give his phone back, she put his phone on his palm like a obeying child.

Abhimanyu called Trevor to call the doctor at the mansion, he couldn't take the risk taking her to the hospital because he didn't wanted Maya's reputation to be tarnished, if she has maintained her personality bold like that, there must be a reason behind it and he didn't wanted to ruin it.

When he turned around he found that Maya was not there, he got worried and started looking for her everywhere, after 20 minutes of looking he was not able to find her, now he was panicking but than he remembered one place that was left.

He ran outside the door and he found her, she was sitting in the garden on the grass, looking at the sunrise with a smile tugged on her face.

Abhimanyu was mesmerised with her beauty, her beautiful eyes were so captivating, making her irresistible. Her smile was like a warm invitation, brightening up the whole place, it wasn't just beauty, it was seeing elegance and charm come to life.

He came out of his trance and started walking towards her, he sat beside her looking at her beautiful face and that small smile which was increasing her beauty, he wanted to capture this moment so he took out his phone and took a picture of her.

They were just sitting there admiring the beauty around them, Maya was admiring the sunrise and Abhimanyu was admiring Maya.

"I love sunrise" speaking this Maya slept on Abhimanyu's shoulder, he couldn't form a word, it was the first time they ever came in contact, even though there was a wall of clothes on but his skin was burning.

His face was covered with red hue, his heart rate increased and body got stiff, his mind went completely blank, he was not able to grasp his surroundings.

Abhimanyu's Pov:

Hey Mahadev!! What is happening to me, she is so close to me, she is so close to me, i can feel her breathing near my neck, i can feel my cheeks burning up I'm sure they'll be red by now, i can even hear my heartbeat, god she smells soo good, I can't feel her but she is so close to me, i can sense her.

She's claiming all my senses just by being close to me, i never knew SHE can put so much effect on me, it's like i can breathe more now, i can live more, life is feeling so beautiful, everything feels beautiful, it's pure bliss, i wish this moment never ends but i also want this moment to end because our proximity is taking my breath away and I'm scared, what if i can't breathe when she goes away,

This is surreal.
