"Ruined your career??" Maya said with a innocent look on her face and than she tilted her head

"I ruined your life Das. Don't disrespect me saying that i just ruined your career" she said with a smirk on her face

His eyes widened as realisation struck him, he was not able to comprehend what exactly happened.

"Do i need to give a invitation to throw him out Trevor?" Maya asked in a sarcastic tone.

"No..no ma'am, I'm sorry" saying this Trevor dragged Das out of Maya's office.

Maya's Mansion

Maya was in her study reading that file which ruined someone's career. After reading it she had a evil smirk on her face.

"Now it's time to start the game" she said to no one particular but it was definitely for someone.

Maya's Office

Maya was sitting in her office waiting for someone and that someone was way too late,

Maya was now loosing her patience, she was about to make call when someone knocked on her door.

"Come in" that's all she said before turning her chair towards the window.

"Good morning ma'am, i'm sorry for being late, there was so much traffic today th—

His words came to an halt when Maya suddenly got up from her chair and started moving towards the door

"Don't stand like a fool over there and follow me" Maya said while moving out of her cabin.

Abhimanyu ran towards her asking "Ma'am today we have no meeting outside than where are we going?"

"I don't think i pay you to question me!"

Enough words to shut his mouth.

Maya's POV

It's been almost 30 minutes and there's complete silence in the car, which i like it anyways, i look up from my phone screen only to be held by the most captivating eyes in the rear view mirror, i never realised he had such beautiful eyes, the eyes held such raw emotions making me weak, they held something that I've seen in my eyes, the emotion which i despise the most, this is making my stomach churn with a disturbing tinge wanting me to puke out my guts because i know, i know the consequences of that emotion,

He'll be left heartbroken just like m— what the fuck am I thinking, I quickly averted my eyes looking out of the window wondering how can just one look from him and I'm loosing myself, I can't let this happen i need to stay away from him, even though what is going to happen is far opposite of my pledge right now.

My thoughts came to an halt when the car stopped, we all came out of the car and i can see from my peripheral vision how Abhimanyu is trying to understand his surroundings and the meaning behind our visit to the Sub Registrar's Office.

"Let's go" i said and started moving forward not caring if he's coming behind or not because eventually he will.

I sat on the chair in front of the marriage officer, i saw Abhimanyu and Travis coming inside from the door, they both were too stunned to speak.

"Ma'am YOU are getting married??" Travis asked me like it's the most shocking thing in this universe, Me getting married. Why does he have to be so shocked, it's just marriage not some Oscar winning ceremony.

"Yes Travis, 'I' am getting married" i said emphasising the word I.

"But why so suddenly? You didn't even tell me? Who's the boy you're getting married to? Did you had a background check on him? Is he good? Do i know him? Are you being blackmai—

"Shut up Travis, so the answer to all your questions, I'm marrying because i want to, I told you just now I'm getting married, the boy is standing right beside you is the groom, no need for background check on him, I don't know if he's good or not, yes you do know him and no i'm not at all getting blackmailed. Anything else?"

After finishing the long session of giving answers like viva i look up only to find Travis holding Abhimanyu who apparently got unconscious listening he's the groom.

For fuck sake why is he so dramatic, but he's such a cuti— fuck fuck fuck what am i thinking.

"Travis wake him up we don't have much time" i said in a monotonous tone already being fed from this shit.

Abhimanyu's POV

I woke up with a jolt when someone threw a whole river on me, Who the Fuc— wait did i heard it right? I'm the groom?? Me and ma'am? Marriage? It's not a dream right?

I looked around myself only to find it's true, we're standing in the Sub-Registrar's Office, Ma'am sitting on a chair like a queen and AND someone is holding me by my waist, what the hell

I looked up only to find Travis holding me like a prince, our faces inches apart, oh God no I don't wanna loose my first kiss by this asshole, I snatched my body away from him subconsciously covering my chest like i was about to get molested.

Travis gave me a weird look and I realised what was I doing, i got back my composure ready to question Ma'am but like always she spoke before me.

"If you don't wanna marry me the door is open for you, I'll find some other man to marry"

I was about to speak but she again cut me off.

"But remember if you say 'No' than you'll no longer be working in my company and I'll make sure you don't get to work anymore in this city, you'll not even get a job of a cleaner and I'll never let you leave this city either, think wisely you have 5 minutes to make your decision"

As soon as she completed her sentence i said "of course I'll marry you, why will i not"

I sounded the most desperate man on the earth but no freaking way I'm loosing this chance, not because I'll have to loose my job but because I'll loose her to other man, which I can't let happen.

Umm yea i mean I'm alive,YAYY, totally fine i guess, this chapter was half complete months ago but i never had the motivation to write again, but today i did it, YESS.

Many things happened in past few months, i got a job but i had to leave the job than studies came and again my own issues, shit happens. but it doesn't mean you'll have to stop your life, so i started it again hehe
