Kylies home
Kylie's POV
It's been about a week since the whole "I don't want to be your friend" incident with Kingsley. I've felt hurt, confused, and even embarrassed. It's puzzling because we appeared to have a good connection and act like friends. While I can understand her point of view, it's still tough. Usually, I'm not too bothered if someone doesn't want to be friends, but this situation with her has been bothering me. After we left that night, Stass repeatedly asked what happened since I was on the verge of tears. However, feeling embarrassed, I held back from sharing. I've spent the entire week reflecting on everything. Things didn't improve with Timothee, so I officially ended things. I've come to realize that I have a slight crush on her, which seems out of place considering I barely know her and she's a girl. (Ugh, this is giving me a headache.)
I'm outside playing with the kids before they head to Travis for the week when I hear Stass calling for me. I chuckle, "I'm out here, Stasssie!" I call back with a smile. She comes outside, and my little ones rush over to her with excitement. Stass is amazing with my kids, and they adore their Auntie Stass. We spend some time outside chatting. Finally, I decide to confide in Stass about what happened. Her eyes widen in shock, "Are you serious? She said that to you?" I nod silently, my gaze falling. Stass takes my hand gently, "What else is bothering you, Ky?" I let out a sigh, "I don't know, Stass. I'm just feeling really confused about everything." Stass smiles softly, "Do you like her?" she asks. "Yes," I whisper.
Stass let out a giggle and pulled me into a hug. "It's okay, Kylie. It's completely fine to have feelings for her. I believe you're drawn to her for various reasons, one being that she's genuine with you. I suspect she feels the same way but struggles to express it. That's what Silas mentioned," Stass said with a smirk. I looked up in surprise, "She talks to Silas about me?" I questioned. "Let's just say she's been through some rough patches, possibly having dated a celebrity in the past. Her most recent ex also left her for a celeb," Stass explained. I sighed and leaned back in my chair, "Oh... wow."
"They're having a BBQ at their house tonight, come with me," Stass urges me. I laugh, "Um, no Stass. She made it clear she doesn't want to be my friend. She might not appreciate me being there," I admit, fiddling with my fingers.
"Girl, you're my plus one, and Silas extended the invite to us," Stass asserts. "Silas invited you or us?" I question playfully. Stass giggles, "He specifically asked me to bring you along. Apparently, Silas is tired of seeing Kingsley mope around the house," she explains, raising an eyebrow with a mischievous grin.
I lean back, contemplating my decision, lost in thought. "Oh my God, Ky, just say yes," Stass urges with a laugh. I chuckle and bury my face in my hands. Suddenly, I sit back up, determined. "Okay, screw it, I'll go, but we'll have to wait until Travis picks up the kids," I declare. Stass lets out a shriek of excitement.
Travis just left with the kids and I'm finishing up getting dressed. I decided to go with some Black legging and black tank top and flannel. Going for a laid back look but still want to look good.
