"Come on Joe!" Kiearo said as they walked through Neverwinter "We need some rest!". "You just want to get drunk again, don't you?" Joe said lazily. "That may be true but still, we might get a new adventure!" Kiearo protested. "Alright, fine." Joe said. As they walked into the pub a man grabbed their shoulders and pulled them into the darkness.
"I know you!" he shouted "you're the adventurers that saved that island!". "Yes we are," Joe said "what do you want?". "I got a mission for you..." he said. This immediately got Kiearos' attention. "A new adventure!?" he said practically leaping over the table.
"Yes, yes" he said "don't get so excited.". "Sorry, I just love adventures." Kiearo said. "It's okay." the man said with a laugh. "So what's the mission?" Joe asked. "Well" the man said "legend has it that there is a kraken round these parts, decimating ships. Now, my wife is coming over on a ship next year and the course goes right over the kraken's supposed nest. I need you to slay the beast to make sure my wife gets across safely.".
"What's in it for us?" Joe asked. "10000 gp for killing the beast.". "Deal." said Kiearo. "All right then, NEXT ROUNDS ON ME!" the man shouted.
