Max reached the clearing where he and Phionna were speaking before he had to leave in order to gather his stuff so both of them could fly up to space. He would look around for Phionna and found her standing in the clearing as she stared up at the sky.
Max would stay quiet for a moment before he cleared his throat and spoke. "..so.." Max would pause, "are..you okay?." Max would ask Phionna, she wouldn't respond for a few short seconds.
Phionna would then sigh then look towards Max's way and nodded her head, "yeah..thanks!" She would say as she gave Max a smile. However, she did look a bit worrisome.
Max would nod his head as a sort of response to Phionna. He would then shift a bit and tap his foot slightly, "so..should we get going?" Max asked. Phionna then nodded her head and picked up her supplies. "Yeah we should." Phionna said as she made her way towards the forest on the other side of the Valley.
In the dark you could barely see anything, so Max brought out his flashlight to help light the way and navigate where their spaceship was at. Phionna would be up ahead as Max lagged behind, making sure to be quiet. After a few minutes the two arrived at this ginormous bush, except it wasn't a bush but instead the spaceship was covered in a blanket of leaves to help cover it up.
It looked more like a wall of vines though, but oh so beautiful even with the dark night. Phiona then motioned Max over and started to take off the blanket of leaves. "Come on Max! You gotta help me take the leaves off!" She'd say. Max understood and rushed to Phionna's side and started to help her take off the blanket of leaves. Some of the leaves were dry and cracked beneath Max's touch.
Max was a bit startled whenever the leaves would crack and disappear into tinier pieces but he knew it was life. Every summer some leaves would turn brown and dry due to the heat and to make way for when the cold breath of fall arrived. In a few minutes both Phionna and Max were able to manage to get the blanket of leaves off.
Phionna nodded approvingly towards Max then took out a sort of button or instrument and clicked on it, once this was done the spaceship roared to life and the top of the spaceship opened to make an entrance to allow passengers inside. Phionna walked over to one of the spaceship's wings and lifted herself on, and walked over to the entrance and lifted herself inside. She then made her way into the pilot's seat.
Max then made his way into the spaceship the same way Phionna did and buckled himself in the seat next to Phionna. Phionna would take a deep breath in, buckle herself in, and get all the controls ready. She would then look towards Max, with her hands in the controls and spoke. "You ready?" Phionna asked. Max nodded his head, then Phionna then looked towards the controls, and pushed the wheel, then the spaceship slowly lifted up, and they both flew to the sky.
