A/N: This part will contain kissing, making out and cuddling. No smut because in this book they are MINORS! I will not be sexualizing minors.

7 months after coming home

After coming home from the games, life has been good! Or as good as good can get after coming home from a fight to the death. Sure, I've gotten to move into a giant mansion, my dream guy, my own life, but with that being said, I'm still traumatized from the games. I have flashbacks, nightmares, survivors guilt, ptsd and trauma. I mean sure I won the games, sure I got to go home but, maybe the ones who we're lost we're luckier, they didn't have to live with themselves after the games, they didn't have to remember everything. Sometimes I wonder how life would be for everyone if I hadn't won. If I was one of the fallen tributes. If I didn't make it. How would Cordelia and her family react. Would my mom still be alive? Would Cordelia fall depressed and sad? And how would Finnick react. sending all those things to save me, all of the gifts to keep me alive, but then I didn't make it. What if the boy from 12 just barely managed to throw his spear right through me? If that arrow was thrown just a bit more to the right, I wouldn't be here right now.

I got out of bed and got changed into my swimsuit, then threw some jean shorts and an over-sized grey shirt over it. I tossed my hair into a ponytail then went downstairs. Cordelia was sitting at the dining table eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Her parents we're out for the day. I went in the cupboard and grabbed a glass then filled it with water. I drank the whole glass in one sitting. Ever since the games I've been very quick with eating and drinking and I was more aware of my surroundings.

"What should we do today?" Cordelia asked.

"No clue" I said.

"How about we just hang out?" She stood up and pushed her chair in.

"Can Finnick come over?"

"Fine" she rolled her eyes.

"Girl you're just mad you're single."

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"Whatever"

"That's what I thought" I smiled.

I walked out of the front door and walked next door to Finnick's house. I knocked on his door and as always Tatiana answered. His mom loved me, I've been over for dinner so many times, and she's invited me over just to hangout multiple times as well. I think she was grateful for my wish to Snow.

"Is Finnick home, and can he hang out at my house today with Cordelia and I?" I asked.

"Of course, sweetie! Let me call him down" She closed the door. "Finnick!" she screamed.

Finnick opened the door.

"Hey"

"Hi, do you want to hang out with Cordelia and I?"

"Hm, let me see if my super busy schedule can fit it" Finnick joked.

"Oh my gosh Finn" I grabbed his hand.

"Have fun!" I heard his mom yell as we shut the door.

We got to my house and sat on the couch. I was leaving on my victory tour in two weeks which was something I was not looking forward too.

"Aww you two love birds" Cordelia said walking by.

Finnick and I laughed at her remark.  I had turned 16 last month and Finnick turned 17 in a month so there was only one month where we we're the same age.

Finnick and I looked at each other and we started to kiss or make out I suppose. I felt his hand start to rub my thigh. My hands we're on his back and one on the back of his head messing with his hair. The room was getting hot, we've never done this before. He started work on a hickey on my neck. I felt his finger drawing circles on my back.

Then Cordelia walked back in.

"Hey, keep it Pg-13 you two love birds or get a room" she giggled walking into the kitchen.

Finnick and I looked at each other blushing, we burst into laughter. Then Finnick went right back to working on that hickey.

"Finn..."

After a bit Finnick stopped and looked at me.

"Hey you alright?"

"Yeah, we've just never done that before" I blushed.

"Is that bad?"

"No, I liked it"

Finnick took my hand, fingers interlocked. We walked up to my bedroom, and I shut the door. I jumped onto my bed. Finnick followed. We sat in silence for quite a bit.

"Hey Finn?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you ever feel like it should've been you who died and not the people you killed in the games? Like do you ever wish you didn't survive the games?" I asked.

"Sometimes, but then I remember all of the things I would've missed if I was, like mentoring you, and becoming your super awesome boyfriend. Please don't think those thoughts, I don't know what I'd do without you" Finnick looked at me.

"I won't" I smiled slightly.

The rest of the day we hung out. It was nice always having him here.
