Thalia wakes up yet again to a million texts, mostly from Riley. "Morning, wanna hang out?" Thalia replies with"Sure, what do you wanna do?" She decides that this will be a good opportunity to get to know Riley a bit better. "How about the beach? Just us right?" "Yeah totally, wanna meet at 11?" Thalia smiles "Yes that would be amazing, any idea what your brother is doing today?" "Ummm, like Rohan? I don't know he might be going to the beach with Cole, Will, and Ryan." Thalia frowns, "Wait, the same beach as us?" "Yeah I think so, why is everything okay between the two of you?" "It's complex, I'll explain later, see you at 10!"
Thalia goes downstairs to grab some food, she makes herself a peanut butter toast and sits down in the cozy breakfast nook in the corner of her kitchen complete with pillows, a blanket, and a mini shelf, from where she grabs her favorite book to read as she eats, it's non-other than the classic "Hunger Games" an old favorite. She starts to read and gets lost in the world of Panem, also known as the world of the Hunger Games.
She reads for around half an hour then heads back upstairs to get ready. She goes into her grand, organized walk-in closet to look for a bathing suit an oversized t-shirt, and shorts. She finds her favorite bikini, a plain black and white one, a pink oversized t-shirt with a picture of a sunset and the words Sunset Beach, and ripped jean shorts. She grabs her white LuluLemon belt bag and fills it up with candy, money, and sunglasses, as well as a big bag with her towel, and beach ball then heads downstairs, slips on her Birkenstocks, but then realizes that it's only 10 o'clock. Thalia decides to go anyway and read The Hunger Games on the beach while she waits. Before she goes she quickly calls Riley. "Hey!" "Hi Thalia, What's going on?" "I was just wondering which beach we're going to?" "I was thinking maybe Skim? Does that work for you?" "Yeah totally, I'm actually leaving now, want me to pick you up?" "Yeah sure, Rohan is going to somewhere with Cole, Will, and Ryan so I don't have a car anyways, so yeah, that would be amazing"
Thalia grabs her bag from where she left it on the bench and yells "I'm going to the beach bye!" She leaves her house, gets into her mom's van, turns it on, and starts to blast music as she drives away, mainly Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift of course. She quickly arrived at Riley's house, one very familiar house to her cause of Rohan. Thalia honks her horn and Riley comes running out of her house and jumps into the passenger seat of Thalia's van. "Hello, ready to go?" Riley asks Thalia.
