Everything was gone, Dr. Jenner, Jacqui, the building, they chose the easy way. After the explosion we all got into the cars and I went with my mother and father, Blair was in the trailer with Glenn, I was glad she wasn't here, last time she was in the same car as me she punched me. Sometimes I look in her dark eyes and I see the range and it's like a black hole, I can see the hate for me, she doesn't know but I enjoy it, makes me feel alive, scared, because I hate her too, at least I want to. Everyone was quiet in the car, Shane was with us, T-Dog too. Unfortunately we couldn't take a lot of things before getting out the CDC, so we were short in food and gas again.
- Dad, you know where we're going?
- Uhm not really Carl, we'll try to find another place to stay...
There was not much I wanted to talk, the silence in the car was excruciating, I'd rather have that annoying girl talking in here than this silence. Everyone was thinking about our lost at the CDC, not just a life but friends that stayed there. People who don't try are the weakest, if you try to survive and don't make it at least you're worth something, but just give up life? I would never do that, and never forgive someone for doing it. I wanted to be in that truck, feel something even if it was hate, or maybe talk to Sophia, she's the nicest girl I've ever met, on the contrary for Blair. Sometimes I don't know why I hate her, I just do, I felt like going up to her every day in school, and she wouldn't leave my head, the feeling so strong I just assumed it was hate, and it became, from both parts. I look outside the window to see the world that makes us wanna give up life, fight for food, cry every night. We stop for a moment to take a look at the trailer, I see my opportunity and decided to switch cars.
- Hey Dale, can I come with you guys? I wanna hang out with Sophia.
- Hop on little one!
I get inside the trailer and see Blair, laughing with Sophia, both super happy and chatty, Carol and Claire were sitting quietly with each other, both probably tired.
- Hey Sophia!
- Hey Carl, what you doing here?
- Decided to come with you to maybe chat ou play some games.
- We could play us three!
- Not into it thanks. - Blair said already rolling her deep eyes.
- It'll be cool come on! - Sophia said excited.
- It could be just us. - I said.

- You don't get tired do you? We don't match, end of story! - Blair said getting up but I caught her fist and pulled her back.
- Don't be a idiot, that's fine Sophia we can hang out together, don't we? - I asked looking at her.

- You know I'm never gonna stop pushing you together, I'm gonna do it until I die! - She says giggling.
- If you keep doing it then I'll die! - Blair said laughing too.
- Nobody is gonna die children, chill out! - I hear Carol's voice trying to break our subject.
- It's just a joke mom! - Sophia said. - Ok, let's play would you rather!
- I'll start, Sophia, would you rather eat poop or drink pee?

- You have to chooosee!! - Blair said laughing at Sophia's face.
- Ok, ok, hmm maybe drink pee.
- Ewww! - We said together.

- Ok then, would you rather eat squirrels or rabbits?

- Yeah me too! Rabbits are too cute! - Sophia said. - Ok now my turn! Blaiiir, would you rather kiss a walker or kiss Carl?

- Not even in your wildest dreams! - Blair said and Sophia started laughing like crazy.
- Ok change the game! - I said.
- What do you wanna play? - Sophia asked.
- I have no idea. - Blair said.
- By the way how did you two meet?
- Unfortunately at school. - I said.

- And why do you hate each other so much?
- Maybe because he's a bully that thinks is better than everyone.

- Ok let's just forget that happened! - Sophia said again.
