A few days later after Amara was freed from the hospital, the fog in her mind began to dissipate and she started to recall her past events. Evelyn's anxious presence at her side provided a shaky anchor. With a voice of both confusion and distress, Amara recounted the hazy images that had haunted her. "I was on my way to the woods to meet you Ev," she had said, her words wavering. "I was running late and sent a message to the others, but when I got there, it was a nightmare. "Our friends were all there lifeless. Through my blurred vision I glimpsed someone with long hair and a black hoodie. They struck me from behind, and that's the last thing I remember before everything went dark."Evelyn's eyes widened, a mix of shock and concern flickering across her face. The weight of the horrors Amara had witnessed now pressed upon both of them, casting a chilling shadow.
