Bella's POV:
I was laying in the sun, absorbing it, getting some wonderful Vitamin D. Edward, was sparkling, intently watching me.
Beautiful. There's no other way to describe this moment.
Edward was shining like a prism, a million different diamonds, breathtaking. The beautiful meadow, straight out of a fairytale, magical. The only thing wrong with the image was me, I ruined it all.
I looked out of place, as I usually did. I made the beautiful scene, something you could scroll past. As if it was unimportant.
I sighed, rolling over to look at Edward, he adjusted himself so he still had a hand laying on my arm. I smiled at him, and he grinned crookedly.
My beautiful boyfriend. All mine.
I sighed, sliding my sunglasses onto the top of my head. I felt my watch vibrate, "Who is it?" Edward looked at me curiously from his spot.
"Jess and Angela want me to go dress shopping with them," he raised an eyebrow, "Of course I'm not going to prom!"
He knew I wouldn't, that's why he didn't ask. He sighed, "So, are you going with them?"
"Probably, just to be a supportive fri-"
He cut me off before I could form a complete sentence, and I was pinned to the ground, "Can I come? When will you be home? How long will you be gone? Where are you going? What day? What time? Do you have to go?"
He looked at me, feigning innocence, or whatever it is he does. Ever since I told him he, "dazzles" people, he'll put on a stupid face to get what he wants.
My mind was swirling with questions, "Uhhh...you can't come. We'll probably go Tuesday, and we'll be gone from about 4-8 pm."
He groaned, "Four hours!"
"Hey," I snapped, "It could be worse. I could stay over."
He looked like I'd just told him that the most important person to him, was dead, and died terribly. "Bella, please, no, don't do tha-"
I cut him off, "I wasn't planning on it. I'm not that mean."
He sighed, "Fine, you can go."
"I wasn't asking for permission," I snapped, and he looked taken back. "Esme would've let me go anyways, as I should probably interact with someone other than my brother."
"Boyfriend," he corrected.
"Still my brother," I muttered.
"You make it sound weird!" he groaned.
"It is weird! Nothing about this relationship is normal!" I whispered. "It'll never be."
He nodded and then we got up to go to the path.

I sighed, "Calm down Eddy, it's only a few hours!"
I'd never seen him so nervous, "Bella, what if something happens?" He looked genuinely scared, as he held me in his arms. Angela and Jessica were waiting, "You know what to do if something happens, right?" He sighed, "It's just nice to know you're safe when you're with me." I nodded and wiggled out of his grip.
I blew him a kiss and walked towards the girls. They smiled and I got in the back as the other two were in the passenger and driver's seat, "Are you going to the prom with Edward?" Angela asked curiously.
I shook my head, and Jess looked at me from the mirror, "What!" she sounded like I told her that George Washington was the current president of Brazil, "That's crazy! Why not?"
