Edward's POV:
She walked in her room to see me waiting for her, a gift in hand. She ignored me and went into her closet to change.
She came out in basketball shorts and a hoodie. I caught her in my arms, "I missed you."
"Personal space?" I looked shocked at her.
"Bella, I just-"
"No, you don't get to act like you control every aspect of my life and then pretend you've missed me dearly!" she stalked out.
Did she think I really didn't miss her? I followed her until she was in Rosalie's room. "I just don't understand," she muttered.
"Bella, he loves you. In his mind, if you're not in his reach, you're in danger," she replied.
Finally! Someone who understands!
"Yes, something bad does seem to happen to me every time we're apart," she added. Was she seeing sense?
"Granted, you don't have to come to him for everything. He'll need to understand the meaning of PRIVACY!" she yelled.
I sighed and walked back to Bella's room, and she quickly followed. She looked at me and walked into my room. I attempted to follow her, but she locked me out. Rude.
I went back to her bed, and she came out with a piece of cloth in her hands. She threw it into her closet and walked over to me.
"So, baseball huh? When's the storm?" she laid on top of me.
I grinned, "Hello, to you too."
She rolled her eyes, "I'm not apologizing."
"Didn't say you had too," I smirked, she'd apologize in 3....2....1....
"I'm sorry!" she cried, "I really didn't mean to upset you."
My smirk faded into a smile, "It's alright, Bella."
She flashed a small smile, then fell asleep. I twirled her hair as she slept. Wrapping and unwrapping.
Two hours later, Emmett walked into her room, "We're gonna be late!" he whined. He left just as Bella began to stir.
"How long was I out?" she asked sleepily.
"Two hours, you slept like the dead," I replied.
"That's weird," she whispered to herself, "Anyways, come on minion."
She skipped into her closet and sprayed perfume everywhere, my God I almost choked on it.
"Alright, I'm ready!" she had taken off her hoodie to reveal my jersey. I rolled my eyes and unzipped my jacket, revealing mine.
She slid her hand into mine and walked to the Jeep, with my the rest of the family already in there.
She put a little makeup under her eyes to make it look as if she was perfectly well-rested. Other than that, the ride was totally silent. Like, the loudest thing was Bella's breathing.
It was steady, rhythmic. I listened to it, concentrating solely on her breathing as we drove to the clearing.
I sighed when we had to depart, obviously Bella had to watch us play baseball from a safe distance.
"We're batting first," Rosalie said. I looked towards Alice, who nodded.
"Whatever," I muttered. I took my place in the outfield, always subconsciously knowing where Bella was.
Rosalie bunted and made it to second, "Coward!" Alice called.
I laughed and Carlisle chuckled, next was Emmett, who almost got a home run. I rolled my eyes when they started to cheer about Rosalie making it home.
