Distance

Jungwon POV:
I was scrolling on my phone watching tiktoks engene's made about the members and I. I come across a name "Jaywon" I quickly type it into my search and a bunch of videos and pictures of Jay and I. After watching a couple of videos I felt weird. My stomach had a weird fuzzy feeling and my skin felt hot. I think I was a bit... weirded out? I take a deep breath and decide I should talk to Jay about this.

No POV:
Jungwon pulls Jay to the side to talk to him after dance practice. "Jay we need to talk." Jungwon says looking into Jays eyes. Jay looked back into Jungwon's eyes as he says "Is something wrong won?" Jungwon shakes his head and says "no well yes. It's just the engenes have been making edits about us. Romantic ones. And it just has been making me feel...weird." Jay looks sadly at Jungwon as he says "oh. I'm sorry you feel that way wonie is there anyway I can make you feel better?" Jungwon avoids Jay's eye contact as he says "Maybe we should have some distance from each other. Just so the fans stop making videos like...that." Jay nods as he smiles at Jungwon reassuringly as he says "okay wonie!"

Jay's POV:
After dance practice Jungwon pulled me to the side of the rehearsal room as he looks up at me with his sweet eyes. I can't help but look back at them. I feel myself get lost in his eyes it was like I was caught in a trance. "Jay we need to talk."  What? "Is something wrong won?" I respond back as worry tiptoes from my legs to my ears. "no well yes. It's just the engenes have been making edits about us. Romantic ones. And it just has been making me feel...weird." Oh. Oh. Of course I knew about those edits they were my favorite thing. Of course Jungwon thought they were weird. I swallow the lump forming in the back of my throat as I look at Jungwon and say "oh. I'm sorry you feel that way wonie is there anyway I can make you feel better?" Jungwon avoiding my eyes contact breaks my heart like shards of glass breaking from a fall to the floor. Please don't look away. Don't hate me. I fight back my thoughts and emotions as I wait for Jungwon to respond although I wish I didn't.  "Maybe we should have some distance from each other. Just so the fans stop making videos like...that." No. Please no. Shut up Jay. You have to respect his wishes. I say to myself as I smile at Jungwon and say "okay wonie!" I'm okay. It's just for a little while then we can go back to normal. I can hang out with other people it's fine.
