Niall Horan

"Dude, seriously?" I was a bit pissed, by hitting his arm and watching Lexi walk off back alone to her car.
"Boo whoo, she'll live. Tell me what Todd said about your dad?"  We stayed on the sidewalk, placing my hands in my pocket, while we than decided to keep walking. "His name is Jake." I took out the piece of paper, showing him the picture. His brows met together like he was thinking. "What? Have you seen him before?" Now that caught my attention. He shook his head, he was deep in thought.
"He looks a little familiar." He replied.

"What else did Todd say? Any information on where the hell to find him?" I pressed my lips together, in a line. "Nope. Didn't mention any other details." I paused, he looked up. "You try asking him for anything else. I feel like he won't tell me. I don't know why, but you're good with people." He placed his hands in his jean pockets, shifting his weight, rocking back and forth. "Sure, I'll try. And if I can't, I'll sneak it." I nodded. "Thank you."

Monday rolled around and I wanted to be anywhere other than that hell hole of a school. My back met the metal of the locker doors, waiting for Zayn to grab his things.
"You wanna skip today?" His head peeked around. "Aren't you failing one of your classes?" I shrugged, kicking my foot up behind. "Your point?" Malik chuckled, ruffling through his books for next class period. "Hey. Alexis is over there." Harry greeted, snapping me out of the bickering with Zayn. "Later losers."

I glanced over at the brunette girl, sitting crisscross, head tilt back with earbuds in. Like that she looks a lot more smaller. I walked over towards her and lightly kicked her foot to get her attention. Her chest heaved, slightly startled. "You scared me." She let out a breathy laugh, pulling the chords off. "Sorry about Styles yesterday. He clearly has no manners." She brushed it off by waving her hand. "Don't worry about it. Was everything okay?"
I nodded, lying.

"I have a question for you." I spat, sitting beside her grunting. "And I may have an answer." I waited a second before asking. "How come you're not scared of me? I mean everyone here knows I'm in a gang. A you seem to be the only one beside Tatum obviously that isn't scared? Why?" She messed with the strings on her hoodie before answering. "Cause I've known you since you moved here.
Honestly it's stupid that some are scared. Considering you've been here forever." She actually did have a point.
My head hit the metal gently. "Huh. Never thought of it that way. It is stupid." The five minute bell rung, and she stood up.

"You coming?" She asked, I shook my head. "Nope, I'm skipping." Lexi swung her bag over her shoulder, "Would you wanna skip with me?" Stupid thing to ask, she was a goody goody after all. Not that it was a bad thing, just knew she was gonna say no. "Ha! You're funny." I clicked my tongue before she helped me stand up. "Still wanted to ask." Her features dropped once someone walked past her. "I'll see you later." She smiled, and walked off to class I assumed.

I shook it off, and met up with Louis who would for sure skip with me. He's out behind the building, smoking.
"Hey. Wanna skip the day and find this son of a bitch?"
His cheeks went hallowing and blew out the smoke, nodding. "Fuck yeah." He got up and threw the cigarette down, stepping on it. We snuck to the front and got our bikes.  "Where to next?"

"Library." I stepped on it, and it only took twenty minutes to the one on this side of the city. No traffic at all which was great, right as we took a left and entered the parking lot, parking the bikes and finding a computer. "Did Todd say what gang he's apart of?" I shook my head, "You message him. I feel like he thinks I can't handle more information he's holding back on." I replied, he slapped my back, as if he had an idea. "I'll be right back."

He grabbed his phone, and went outside. My foot began tapping, growing impatient within the minute, another thing I loved about these guys was how they shared the same hatred towards anyone who shammed my father,
the leader. We rarely ever spend time on this side of town so we had nothing to worry about. I clicked on the enternet button and waited for his arrival once again.

It was annoying how he rarely told me anything other than the facts. I get it if he is just protecting me but if it bothered him that much where he knew who murdered him he would show it or try to get me to hunt him out and bring the guy to him. I don't even know if he did it alone or not. Louis finally came back in with a weird expression.

"He told me the name of his group but said they're not around anymore." I rolled my eyes at that. "What was it?"
He leaned down. "Red spades." He whispered. I typed as he spoke, I leaned my chin in the palm of my hand as I searched, and clicked every link that seemed legit. Until he popped up with a few other guys. Two were dead and three were alive. "Jake. Michael, Richard, and Zach."

They did seem pretty real, my blood was boiling at this point. I wanted the four of them dead. My grip was tightening on the mouse, as Louis brought me back to reality. "Print the stuff out so we have more to look into."
I scanmed over the site and clicked print as he waited beside, putting quarters into the machine. I cleared the computer, and met up with him. "Let's go. I'm hungry."

I nodded, as we left quickly and found somewhere to eat, following him whatever he craved. We walked into Wendy's, and got a table. "Don't tell anyone about this yet." I started, he nodded. "No worries, safe with me."
He replied, before getting up to order the two of us food.
"Have you ever heard of these guys before?" My mind was stuck on them.

He shook his head, sliding my shake I requested.
"I feel like we know a lot of groups and they don't come to mind." He shrugged, messing with his straw. "Maybe they're new or something?" I clicked my tongue. "I still feel like we would've heard of it atleast." He reached his hand out, motioning for the paper.
I handed it over, as he skimmed through the research.
"Don't worry man, we'll cause this guy brutal torture."

"I plan on it." I added, "to suffer."
But obviously I had to keep this all hidden from my mom, she would kill me if she knew what I was doing. Plus, not only that I don't want her to get hurt in the cross-fire, and thankfully the others kept her out of the loop as I asked.
She already lost so much and I don't want her to worry.
She's all I have now. So I plan on revenge for the both of us.

"Here's your food." A girl brought over the food, as Louis smiled up at her. Clearly they had flirted and he won her over. "Thank you, babe." I looked out the window- hiding the laugh that was desperate to escape. I watched as she walked off. "Nice." He chuckled, shoving a fry in his mouth. "Do we have anything planned for this weekend?"

He shook his head, "No, not that I'm aware of. He never mentioned anything when we talked." He replied, I took the wrapper of my burger off and dug in.
"But, we could party." I shrugged, he knew I hated them.
"Dude, come on. Have fun." He took a sip of his drink so I could fight back. "I did friday, and I hated every minute of it." He tilted his head, knowing it was a lie.

"Even chatting with Alexis?" I rolled my eyes, was she cute? Yes. Esay to talk to? Yes. But nothing was gonna happen, and he knew it. She was one of the girls who never threw herself at me, and yes that kinda drew me to her. But I had too much to worry about.
