War Chapter Twelve: Reunited

January 10th, 2037

Ranko and Diana entered their devil forms and charged at Ridge.

Ranko jumped at and crashed down on Ridge with an axe kick but didn't affect the much larger man who grabbed her ankle and threw her back, she used her hands to land on the ground safely.

Diana behind him had a black flame surrounding her leg and hit him in the neck but quickly regressed when he blocked the attack and punched her away.

Ranko caught the flying Diana and landed next to Hikari and Oscar.

Hikari: I can help after-

Ranko: No, he's way out of your league kid

Ridge punched the ground and sent the ground shaking and tearing apart.

Diana: Evacuate the area! Now!

Diana was then crushed by a pole sent at her by Ridge before Ranko ran up to Ridge and punched him away while Diana had a beam of black flames sent at him.

Hikari with the help of Amy had people running away while Oscar and Adam were next to a bench resting.

Adam: What happened to Wilkersmith?

Oscar: I don't know, I would love to figure that out myself

Roaring heard in the distance made Ranko suck her teeth and Diana held her ribs while Ridge ran at them with a giant tree in the distance.

Ranko: We'll have to kill him

Diana: Killing isn't always the option for women

Ranko: It's either he dies or we and others do, his powers are weird...

Diana: How so?

Ranko: He regenerates with muscles and his magic container is also increased, he amplifies himself, and sooner or later he will be untouchable

Diana: Then we beat him before that

Diana rushed it to Ridge but ate a giant tree to the face sent her just past a house that Hikari helped evacuate.

Ranko put her forearms up and felt her bones crack as Ridge forced her back before she spilled a tree that was thrown her way.

Ranko: you haven't been you he's yet you're growing stronger, but how?

Adam (Limping next to her): It's blood magic, someone in the distance is using it on him so he grows stronger by the second

Ranko: Go sit down dude, you aren't in fighting condition

Adam (Smirking): I'm always in condition to fight

Adam looked directly at Ridge six black angel wings sprouted from his body and gauntlets appeared to form around his fist.

Ranko (Scoffing): Gosh your ridiculous

Adam: Don't start sounding like my wife now

Ridge roared and grabbed a pole, ripping it straight from the ground and hurling it at them was stopped but an unseen force.

Oscar (Smirking): Now's your chance you two

Both Ranko and Adam charged at the bulky beast punched him in the gut and caused him to cough out blood before the recoil sent him crashing through multiple houses.

Ranko: Nice punch

Adam; Thanks, you too

Both turned back to Ridge to see him twitching before a giant spike pierced his chest and his roar grew deafening.
