"I love you but you are real, my love..."

"They said to stay away from the dark and tall handsome villain. He was good for nothing they said. They claimed that he was a beast. They called him 'Lucifer'. That he was just like that bad guy but to her, he's a fallen angel. Her angel, her enemy, the guy she was never supposed to fall for but she ended up falling so hard for him that even the stars couldn't stop giggling..."

-

"Why do you hate me so much? What have I ever done to you?"

"I hate you because I can't have you. I hate the fact that I am not the one you want to fight for. I hate that I am not the reason behind your disgustingly beautiful smile. I hate that I am not the reason behind your shining eyes. I hate that I am not the person you look forward to seeing every day. I hate you because I can't stop myself from wanting to always see you. And most importantly, I hate you because I love you."

Her lips parted away. She wanted to say that she also loved him.

That he was the one she liked at the first glance. Not his brother.

-

"Do you think that I am worthy of a kiss, my dark moon?" He cheekily grinned. It was annoying but at the same time, she couldn't hide the smile that was trying to come out of her lips.

Who would have thought that the villain she read about was going to be this sinister yet cute and innocent like a baby?

For a minute, she wanted to thank that mysterious writer called 'Esmeray' who wrote this book.

"What if I say no?" She tried to challenge him which didn't seem like the brightest idea since they were dancing at the center of the ballroom.

"Then I will wait forever till you agree. I might seem a little cruel but I won't force myself on you. How can I hurt my dark moon?"

Her heart started beating so fast that she was afraid, he could hear her. Maybe he did but he didn't bother making any comments.

"Are you ready to shock everyone? Especially that 'so-called prince' of yours?" his voice was a little bitter.

It was irritating him. Nothing ever mattered to him before. But the mere thought of her using him, only to make her actual love jealous was making him want to burn down this whole world.

She tried to read his expression. He looked like he was in physical pain.

She wanted to ask why but some things were better left unsaid.
