Two weeks later.

I got into the habit of texting Paige, we haven't flirted or anything but we definitely talk all the time. She's became my best friend. Practices have gone really well.

I kinda like when she called me that but ima leave on her read. I started to open TikTok, maybe if I look up her on there I can get some hype songs.

An hour passed and I've realized I have become such a stalker. I have been watching so many edits. I can not let anyone know I have a crush on her. "Hey whatcha up to roomie" I hear a voice behind me. "NOTHING" I slam my phone down and turn around. It was just Natalie but I don't want her to ask so many questions about if I have a thing for Paige.

"Right so why were you watching Paige bueckers edits..?" She said with a huge smile on her face. "Dude if you like her go for that fr, she's hot" she's right she is hot and i totally secretly have a thing for her. "Well if you most know since I'm the manger I have to make a playlist for game day and I just needed some inspo." I say weakly.

"Mhm, then why did you watch the same one over and over again?" "Bitch whose side are you onnnn." I say covering my face. "Yours duh you're my best friend which is why I'm saying you need to go for that." She's right, i definitely should go for that.

"What if she doesn't like girls actually and I have gotten the wrong idea??" I say looking at my roomie who is now laughing so hard she spit her water out of her mouth. "GIRL PLEASE LOOK AT HER. SHE TEXTS YOU ALL THE TIME BROTHER!!" Natalie says grabbing my phone out of my hand.

"What are you doing?!? do not text her." I say sternly. "Bro just ask her what she is up to, then if she's not busy ask if she wanna hang out. It doesn't have to be flirty." I think to myself for a minute then agree. I mean she's right we have been hanging out already for two months it's kinda time to start making a move. Or at least flirt a little.

"Okay give me the phone." I say holding out my hand. Natalie then starts jumping up and down "YESSSS" she hands me my phone then sits down beside me.

Thinking about her showing out just for me kinda does make me want to eat her face. "oh yeah she wants you, there's no doubt." Natalie says pulling me off the couch. "So we gotta make you look good, also does she not know that you're gay?" I get up and follow Nat into my room. "Uh no one on the team knows, I dress pretty straight so I mean."

"Okay so you better flirt, everyone knows the fem has to make the first move. So if you don't show any interest then she's gonna move on and think you're actually straight." She's right, but damn I'm the absolute worst at flirting.

"I think you should do just sports bra, show off a little make her want you." Natalie says while sitting on the bed. I grab my Nike sports bra and some pros. "oh my gosh you little slutttt" Natalie says in a sarcastic tone.

"Hey you said show off, and these do make my ass look good." I say as I get dressed. "True true. I'm not lesi but I can't help but look at it." I roll my eyes and throw my t-shirt at her.

After I get dressed and put my hair up, I go out to my car and call Paige. "Madds I can't wait to show you these muscles" Paige says immediately. I scoff in disbelief, not even a hello out of this girls mouth. I decided to flirt a little. "I can't wait to show off, maybe I'll impress you a little." I can feel the grin on her mouth when she says "oh trust me you always impress me."

I walk out into the workout room and see Paige shirt off, white nike bra on. Holy fuck kill me now. I want to take a picture of her. "Madds come here, play a song let's hear what you got started." Paige says waving me over.

I walk over to here and connect to the speaker. I decided to play my favorite song to watch edits too of her. Na-na - Trey songz starts playing.

"Okayyyy this is heat," Paige says vibing to the song. "This going on the gameday playlist??" She says as we start working out together. "Yeah makes me think of you actually." "Oh really?" She says with a smirk and I instantly fold.

After intense working out Paige finally starts coming towards me and woah she looks good like this. "I didn't realize how good of shape you were in. I like the pros." She says looking me up and down. AGAIN FOLDED.

"Well when you're in track you gotta be in shape, and thank you I think you look really good." I say walking closer to her and looking up. She then grabs a piece of my hair playing with it. "I want one on one time with you more often." She says looking down at me then pulling me into her by my waist. My face goes really hot.

"I need one on one time with you." I reply, she smiles then her eyes move to my lips. Mine move to hers. Just as I think it's about to happen finally after two months. Someone walks in.

"OH HEY GIRL BOOS" kk says as she walks in with ice. I back up and look back and forth between all three of them. Ice's eyes are wide. "Were me and kk-" she goes to say  but i cut her off "Paige we gotta go remember we're gonna be late to that thing I was talking about earlier." I say grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the room.
