Paige's pov:

"Paige sweet girl, wake up." I feel a hand cupping my face and giving me gentle kisses. I open my eyes to see Madeline infront of me. I then realize it was all a dream. We are still at her mom's house, lying on the couch. Wow that was a really depressing dream that I can't let come true.

I look at her and pull her into a hug. She hugs me back and looks at me "wow sweet girl someone is being affectionate. Did you have a bad dream?" She asks me while rubbing my head. I nod yes.

"I'm sorry but everything is okay you're safe with me." I smile into her arms and pull away to look at her. "Can we go on another date soon. I have something important to ask you but I don't want to til the time is perfect."she laughs "ofc I love our dates they are always so good."

I feel instant relief. We plan our third date for next week. "Hey girls it's time to eat," her mom calls from the kitchen. We sit down at the table and eat together. It's great.

We all sat down in her mom's kitchen eating some pizza, "so what is everyone's 'hear me out' for food?" Mrs price asks. "Paige has a good one" Madeline says quickly. I smile when i realize she already knew that without me telling her that.

"Let's hear it pb," her mom says while cleaning up our plates. "Potato chips and ketchup, it's so good." I say with my proudest smile. "There's no wayyy" her mom says in a laugh. I get up to help clean. "Madeleine is a weirdo too she likes pickle juice on baked potatoes."

Madeleine is quick to defend herself "don't knock it til you try it. I swear it's good!!" I can get used to this, my sweet girl and her amazing mom. It feels natural.

Time skip (fr this time no dream.)

"Bye girls, be super careful." Her mom says pulling us both into a hug. "It was so nice to meet you, I see where madds gets her looks from." I say giving her mom a goodbye. This makes her laugh. "Maddie honey she's welcome every time!!"

We walk out and I run to the car to make sure I open the door for my girl. Her adorable smile appears which is just what I wanted. "What was that aboutttt??" She asks in an obviously shy tone.

"Just because you deserve to be treated like the princess you are," I get into the car and start heading to her apartment. "I really had a good day Paige, I'm glad you came for me." She says while grabbing my hand.

My heart feels so full right now. "I love your mom." I say confidently. "Why?" She asks with a suspicious look on her face. "She's the older you," I reply with a quick smile/glance. "Paige if you have a crush on me just say that." She replies with a fake attitude and a huge cocky smile.

I can't help but laugh a little, I'm not used to that attitude but I like it. "I'm saying that." I reply just as cocky. We pull into her apartment complex and she lets out a huge sigh.

"I don't want you to have to go home.." she trails off, unbuckling and facing me. "I don't want to have to leave you and go home." I hate this part.

"When school starts back what happens to us?" She says while rubbing the back of her neck obviously scared of what I'm going to say. I put my hand on her knee and get her attention. "Absolutely nothing, I'll always make at least one whole day dedicated to you. We can have a sleepover together after every game if you want." I really hope she takes my offer.

Her face lights up with pure hope, "I'll take that offer, only if you're willing to stay the night with me after our date next weekend." She says excitedly. I can't help but smile and make that promise.

I get out and walk her to the door, it's getting pretty late but I don't mind. I make sure she's comfortable and in the bed before I leave.

"I'm so tired, but I can't sleep with makeup on." She complains while forcing herself out of bed. "Cmon I'll get it off you and help you get comfortable before I leave." Her pupils grow and she smiles.

That's the first time I really noticed her eyes doing that. I can't help but think about that while I take off her makeup very carefully. After that I brush her hair for her and give her some privacy as she changed into some pjs.

She gets into bed then pats it beside her. "Will you put me to sleep, I've gotten the best sleep when you're beside me" she admits honestly. "I would love to put you to sleep." I crawl into bed beside her and hold her on my chest.

It doesn't take long to put her to sleep, I replace myself with her pillow and carefully get out of her bed. I didn't want to leave her hanging like some kind of sneaky link so i decided I'd leave her a note.

Dear madds,

I'm so sorry I had to leave you like some kind of sneaky link lmao, but it was getting late and I didn't want to get too sleepy on the roads. I had a great time with you today and I hope to continue having amazing more days. You're my favorite part about waking up. Sleep well angel <33

I let the note on top of her phone so I know she got it. I turn off the light and give her a kiss on the forehead. Just as I was walking out I'm stopped by Natalie.

"Oh hello?!?" She says surprised to see me. "Hey Natalie I'm sorry to be here so late, madds wanted me to stay im leaving now." I say walking to the door.

"So one thing before you leave," Natalie says making me stop in my tracks and turn towards her. "You really like her?" I shake my head yes. "So are you gonna ask her to be your girlfriend??" I don't have to think twice about this.

"Absolutely I just want it to be perfect for her because she is so perfect to me, will you make sure she calls me in the morning. It's my favorite part about waking up." I say honestly. Natalie nods and waves goodbye.

The whole way home I think about how perfect this date is gonna be. My life is at its best and all I can do is Thank God for his amazing doings. He blesses me everyday and it shows through my amazing opportunities I get and through the love and support of my family. I can't forget the most important part, it shows through Madeline.

Next morning Madeline's pov***

I wake up halfway expecting, well more hoping Paige decided to just stay even though I know today is a busy day. Summer is over now, it's time for school.

This meaning our schedules are about to fill up, I'll know sooner or later if Paige just wants us as a summer fling or not.

I roll over to grab my phone to check then time when I see a note. I read over it imagining her being so quiet and trying to find the right words.

I grab my phone and get out of bed, ima start making us a memory box. I grab an old shoe box from under my bed and put the note in it. No one has ever written me a note before.

As I was decorating the box my door creeps open. I'm a little embarrassed that I'm making this box now. "You up?" Nat sticks her head in and is immediately confused why I'm sitting in the floor with glitter paint and hiding something behind my back.

"Uhhh?? Should I be questioning?" Nat says as she takes a seat on my bed. "No. I just um was making a memory box." My face was now turning bright pink.

"Oh goodness. This is like major crush. Like so major you're crafting now?!?" I cover my face with my hands forgetting I had glitter and paint on them.

"It's bad I know I can't help it though," I say trying to defend myself before cleaning up all my supplies. "Give your girlfriend a call and let's start planning our back to school fits."
