Six years later
"Mimi, where's my apple bars?" questioned Bugz, looking through the pantry.
"Why are you asking me? You should be asking Miss 'Eat-a-Lot' upstairs." called back Mimi.
Bugz walked up the stairs mumbling to herself as she entered Juliet's room.
"Juliet, did you eat m-"
She saw Juliet with an apple bar in her hand.
"No.." denied a mouth-full Juliet.
"I'm gonna kill you!" exclaimed Bugz, as she jumped on Juliet.
She grabbed the empty box of apple bars and began to beat her her sister with it.
"You ate my apple bars!!!"
"No I didn't!" exclaimed Juliet, trying to shield herself from her sister's evil wrath.
"Please, stop it!"
Mimi heard cries coming from upstairs and ran to see what was going on.
As she walked into Juliet's room, she saw Bugz beating her sister with an emty apple bars box.
"Bugz, stop!" yelled Mimi, as she pulled her off of Juliet.
Bugz was sweaty and her face had turned red.
"Next time, don't eat my apple bars." warned Bugz.
She followed Mimi back downstairs as Juliet laid on the bed, crying.
Four hours later
Juliet walked downstairs and saw Bugz, Mimi, and Romeo sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Well, what happened to you?" questioned Romeo, staring at her.
"When did Romeo get here??" exclaimed Juliet.
"About the same time you got your butt whipped." giggled Mimi
"Sooo...Juliet you never answered Romeo's question. How did you get that bloody nose and busted lip?" smirked Bugz.
"Screw off." muttered Juliet, as she turned around and walked back upstairs.
"Gosh, what's her problem?" chuckled Bugz.
The next day
Raindrops thumped the rooftop.
"Ughh, it's been raining all day!" exclaimed Juliet.
"You should be happy. School was cancelled because the storm was so bad." said Mimi.
Lightning struck the ground nearby, causing the power to shut off.
"You see, this is why I hate stormy weather. Now we have no power!" complained Juliet.
"Hush and go get us some firewood. At least then we'll have some light." said Bugz.
"But it's raining out there!"
"Then take Mimi with you."
Mimi groaned, but agreed. They both grabbed their coats and headed to the woods behind their house.
"You go this way and I'll go that way, okay?" instructed Mimi.
"Kay. I'll call you if I need you." agreed Juliet, as they went their separate ways.
"Firewood, firewood. Looking for some firewood." Juliet hummed to herself.
She was halted as she fell over a stump.
"Oww.."
She noticed a strange flower in front of her. A glittery blue rose.
"Mimi!"
"What do you want?" called back a voice.
"Come here! I found something."
After about two minutes, Mimi finally showed up.
"Look at this!" pointed Juliet.
"What is it?"
"Looks like some kinda new rose-species-thing.."
"A 'rose-species-thing'?" sarcastically mocked her sister.
"Let's take it back to Bugz!" suggested Juliet.
Mimi agreed and wwent to pick it up. She pricked her finger and it began to bleed.
"You do realize it has thorns, right?"
"Nahh dip, Sherlock." scowled Mimi, as she picked up the flower.
She noticed a tombstone above it, covered in fern. She brushed off the leaves and read the engravement.
Beware, take caution when picking-
And the rest was gone.
"What does that mean?" questioned Juliet.
"I don't know. Let's just get this thing back to Bugz."
They ran back home and approached their sister.
"Look at this!" exclaimed Mimi, shoving the flower in Bugz's face.
"Whoa. Back it up.." said Bugz, pushing the flower away.
"It's so cool!" exclaimed Juliet, poking it.
All three were simultaneously touching the rose at the same time and a blue wind began to revolve around them.
"Whoa! What's happening??" panicked Mimi.
"What did you do?" yelled Juliet.
"I did nothing!" argued Bugz.
The wind stopped and they noticed their new surroundings.
"Umm..where are we?? questioned Mimi, as they looked around and saw strange-looking creatures of all sorts.
There was a sign about ten feet away from them that read, Symica.
"Looks like we're in Sy-Mi-Ca." pronounced Juliet.
A fox-looking hybrid walked up to them and stopped.
"Oh, Great Ones! You've returned!"
All the creatures turned and looked at them. The trio oddly looked around and noticed that there were a variety of strangers ranging from ogres to fairies to even wolf-like animals, that stood on their hind legs.
"Oh no! We don't even know how we got here!" cried Bugz.
"All three of you touched the rose, therefore bringing you to Symica. Welcome. I am Shinoh, from the Duppel tribe" introduced the creature.
"Sooo..the rose is magical?" questioned Juliet.
The fox-like creature nodded.
"Symica..Why does that sound so familiar?" questioned Mimi.
"It was named after your mother, Symi. She was the great ruler of this land." explained Shinoh.
"Let me get this straight..our mom was queen of this place?" asked Bugz.
The duppel nodded and began to explain the story.
Two hours later
"So some person named the Shadow Lord kidnapped our mom and murdered our father and my twin? Oh, they are going down." exclaimed Bugz, as she balled up her fist.
"So will you three join our colony to become the princesses of Symica?" questioned the duppel.
All three sisters looked at each other and shot a smile towards the creature.
"Of course we will!" the three exclaimed in unison.
And so the sisters fullfilled the duty as princesses of this new world, eventually becoming queens, but that's another story.
