"Me next! Me next!" yelled Juliet, pulling Mimi closer towards Santa.
"Juliet, first off, you're 13 years old. That's way too old to be waiting in line for Santa. Second, you're not even next in line. Lastly, that Santa isn't even real!" exclaimed Mimi.
"So." pouted Juliet, folding her arms
"Also where's Bugz at?" Mimi questioned.
"She said she was gonna go buy some elf outfit." said Juliet.
"Next!" called the elf up front, beside the fake Santa.
"Oohh! That's me!" exclaimed Juliet, pushing all the other kids out of the line.
"Juliet, wai-"
By the time Mimi caught up to her sister, she was already in the Santa's lap. Mimi sighed and heard the elf chuckle.
"I have a little brother and he does the exact same thing."
"Really? He fractures little kids' bones just to get up from to Santa too?" she questioned, astonished.
"Well sorta like that," he awkwardly chuckled.
"I'm Eric."
"Mimi." she introduced.
Their conversation was interrupted when they heard screaming in the background. They averted their attention to Santa and saw Juliet biting his ear.
"Help! Somebody get her off!"
They both quickly ran and attempted to pull Juliet off the man. After about three minutes of struggling, Mimi finally managed to pull her sister off.
"I am so so so sorry about her. I don't know what got into her." she apologized for her sister.
"You and your sister are both banned from this mall! You two are never to set foot in this mall again!" screamed the man, with his fake white beard hanging halfway off his face.
"Bu-"
"NEVER! Eric will lead you both to the door!"
He sighed and showed them the way.
"So I'm sorry about things getting out of hand, but I'd really like to see you again. My shift gets off at 5:30, so maybe we could go watch one of the holiday re-run movies they're showing in the theaters?" said Eric, as he held the door open for them.
"I'd like that." Mimi smiled, giving him her address.
"Oohh..Mimi's got a boyfriend." teased Juliet.
She was greeted by a shoulder to her side. Mimi waved goodbye and drug her sister out of the mall and towards home.
Three hours later.
The door to their small cottage swung open and in the doorway stood a soaking wet Bugz, with three bags in her hand.
"Were y'all even gonna tell me that you left the mall!?"
"Oh, shoot! I'm so sorry. I forgot! Juliet got us kicked out of the mall and by the time I got home all I wanted to do was rest." explained Mimi.
"Where. Is. She." questioned Bugz.
Mimi pointed upstairs and watched her sister turn her direction towards that way, followed by yelling and Juliet screaming. Most of the words were inaudible, but she managed to catch a few things.
