Lilly's pov

I woke up before Mat this morning. Which happens a lot sometimes I think he could sleep for days. I don't mind though. Somehow he managed to not let go of me at all last night. Cuz when I woke up I could feel him still holding on to me. As he sleeps I move hair out of his face. But I can't stop thinking about our conversation last night. Why did he bring it up. Does he want to do that soon. Does he want to have sex. Will he cheat on me if I don't get comfortable with it soon. As the thoughts fill my head he wakes up his grip only tights. "Princess" "yeah" "I'm not going to cheat on you, I'm not going to make you do anything you're not comfortable with, and yes I still love you" I smile. " How do you know what I was thinking " " I know you I can tell by the way your face is that you were focused on something, but you looked more panicked so I assumed it was about our conversation last night" d*mn he's good. " Yeah sorry I just-" " shhh it's ok". I was so comfortable I didn't want to move but I did I rolled over so I was facing him. I basically snuggled into him.

My bedroom door swag open and neither of us moved an inch. Not out of fear just we were too comfortable. "Lilly" "yes dad" "why is he in your bed" before I could talk Mat said "good morning Mr John I heard a thud last night and came to make sure Lilly was ok when I got here she was passed out on the floor so I stayed until she woke up then the sun had already set so I stayed to make sure she could sleep because I know after passing out sleeping can be hard" my dad didn't reply he just stood there.

After 20 minutes he talked "Matthew, I don't give a f*ck what you think you do not have the right to be in my house without me knowing" I still didn't talk I began shaking. " Actually sir according to the law of someone in the house is in danger anyone can go in and make sure that person is ok, witch I did as Lilly was in danger as you caused her to pass out, you sir have no reason to be cussing at me as I did not report you to the police but if you keep acting like this when I help my girlfriend I will tell them every d*mn thing you do in this house" I was clinging to Mat he was holding me tight my dad just standing in the door way. He threw papers in my room and walked out all the way to his car and he left. Mat stood up and grabbed the papers "princess" "yeah" "you're getting a tattoo" "yeah" "what is it" "just a word" "do you have a picture yes but I want it to be a surprise so no you can't see it". After that Mat had practice so he left and I took the papers and went to the tattoo shop.

They took my papers and pictures and began my tattoo. I had a really nice lady she talked to me the whole time. She even showed me her tattoo that she got for the same reason as mine. After what felt like forever, it was 30 minutes, it was done. I love it so much. She didn't even charge me full price. She discounted it because she said she likes doing tattoos like this as they show hope and light. I paid her and went to the baseball field. "Princess" "Mat" "can I see it now". I held my arm out to him and he admired it for a few minutes. "It's perfect, it fits you and it's so pretty" "thank you" he gave me a quick kiss and ran back to practice. I looked down at my wrist and read my tattoo to myself "fighter".
