Sonic Boom: The Steel-Blue Knight

Training

Continuing from where we left off...

"Uh.. Can't you just tell me how to do it instead?" Sonic said, suddenly nervous.

"There's no better teacher than experience. Bring it on!!" Blaze scoffed.

She then rushed to Sonic with her sword in hand, eager to start training Sonic. The made Sonic yelp in fear as he froze.

"Don't worry, I will guide you!" Caliburn's voice made Sonic snap out of it and Sonic rushed to Blaze with Caliburn in hand.

They clashed swords with each other a few times before Blaze was able make Sonic trip. He got his balance back and panted in exhaustion.

"She's... A lot stronger than... I thought..." Sonic said, panting.

"True, but you were able to survive thanks to me." Caliburn informed him.

Sonic then let Caliburn float on his own. "Yeah, thanks."

Blaze removed her helm and walked to Sonic, he noticed her coming.

"You saw how it looks like up close?" She asked. At Sonic's nod, she helped him stand up off the ground. "Sorry for going too fast. From now on, we'll start slow and work the way up."

"You better." Caliburn sternly told her.

Blaze just kicked some dirt onto Caliburn's hilt, much to the sword's slight annoyance. "Oh, quiet."

Sonic just chuckled at their antics. Blaze then shook herself out of it.

"Anyway, we'll go easy for a few days. I'll explain." She began.

Later. Sonic and Blaze clash swords but Sonic falters after Blaze zips by him.

"Again!" She said.

They clash swords again and parry their strikes with each other's slashes.

The next day, Sonic and his friends are at the fountain as the echidna explains his encounter with Rouge.

"I met someone yesterday and... She was a bat whose family studied relics from Angel Island." He explained.

Amy was shocked. "Really?!"

"Oh my gosh!" Zooey squealed

"Well, that's amazing! The relics from your home are alright after all!" Tails cheered.

Knuckles chuckled. "Yeah, you're right!" He then looked away shyly. "And to be honest... She was really nice and pretty."

Sonic teased as he made kissing noises. "Ooh, 'she', huh?"

"Someone's got a crush~." Sticks announced.

Shadow lightly slapped Sticks' shoulder in amusement as he let out a small laugh. "Oh, shush, be nice."

"Be quiet!" Knuckles lightly flicked Sticks' head. "And we just met! I can't date her already, that'd be embarrassing!"

Sticks just rolled her eyes as she smirked at him. "Whatever."

Zooey turned to Sonic. "So, how about you? How are you and Blaze?"

"Oh, um, about that..." Sonic rubbed the back of his neck. "I've got something to do with her... And I don't wanna waste time, so... I gotta go." Sonic ran off. "You're free to watch!!"

"Okay..." Sticks said, confused. She turned to her friends. "Wanna see what he's up to?"

Tails, Zooey and Shadow raised their hands in 'yes'.
