A few days later, Swordsvale was repaired. The streets were being decorated for the celebration of Merlina's defeat. On various tvs, the kingdom's news show, Celestial Swordcast was displayed. The Babylon Rogues were the news hosts.

"Listen up, it's goin' down!" Jet told them. "Gusting from Swordsvale, we're the Babylon Rogues!"

"Celestial Swordcast, we're live!!" Wave announced.

Storm cheered. "Yeah, baby, here we go!"

"You lip-synch, we sing..." Jet told them.

"Jet, Wave and Storm!!" Storm announced.

The albatross was so pumped up. "Ooohh, man! I... Can... Barely... Contain myself!!"

"What's wrong, Storm?"

Storm then gestured to the tv of their news room to answer Wave's question. "Breaking news that's what!" The screen showed Sonic in his armor with his friends on the stage of town square.

"Oh! Is this about Sonic Pendragon's victory against Merlina?" Wave asked.

Jet realized. "Oh yeah, that's right... I nearly forgot."

Jet started to look at the screen as Sonic spoke to the crowd. The audio was muted as this happened days ago.

"...Is that how he always looked?" Jet asked.

Wave didn't bother with it. "Who cares? The world is saved!! Yay! Is that all, Storm? What's next?"

"No, there's more broken news!" Storm shook his head in excitement.

Jet then corrected his partner. "Breaking news, dude. So hurry up and break it already!"

The tv then showed Sonic and Dr. Eggman shaking hands as the doctor is seen in retirement clothes.

"Oh, wait. Let me guess, it's about Team Sonic and their friends moving to Swordsvale and leaving Seaside Island as Dr. Eggman goes into retirement where he'll work on his inventions, right?" Wave asked. "Cause if so, then yeah, I've heard about it, and yeah, I'm shocked about it. But rumors say they'll be going there for summers."

"Wait... Look at the instruments Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are packing." Jet noticed.

"Is it really them?" The albatross asked.

Wave soon saw the music gear they had. "T-That's the Dude-itude's gear!! And their truck! Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are the Dude-itude?!"

"Sorry, guys!" Storm apologized.

"They're our virtual friends..." Jet told the audience. "Babylon Rogues will be open for the Dude-itude anytime! When will the celebration start?"

Wave found that fun. "Yeah! Awesome idea, Jet. A Babylon Rogues and Dude-itude music soundtrack!"

"Until then, a celebration will be held for Team Sonic and their friends as well as the defeat of Merlina! Catch us if you can!!" Jet said.

The tvs turned off as the celebration preparations were still being made. Sonic looked down from the balcony of his room. The hedgehog went inside and went to his closet, he looked around until he found what he was looking for. It was a red cape that fell on his back, there was also a brown neckerchief with gold trimming. His neckerchief was styled like that since he loved it dearly. There were boot versions of his normal shoes and gray, elbow length gloves with red cuffs. He'd been dying to put it on, but resisted the urge until the day came. 

He put it on as he looked at the mirror. He then turned to a golden crown with a ruby on it. He then put it on as he turned to the mirror. He then left the room as the sun was slowly setting.
