The masquerade ball was beautiful. The lights, the music and the people. I didn't recognise anyone and they didn't recognise me. I saw Quinn. She came with Justin and she was wearing the dress I asked her to wear. They walked towards Hunter and his date, the tall,blonde girl from our rival school.
Standing on the roof, I knew what was going to happen. I asked her to meet me here.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"You!" I turned around to meet her.
She frowned. I smiled.
"What?"
"You heard me."
I took my mask off and she gasped.
"You!?"
I knew she was shocked. She was speechless.
"I know this is strange, but I need you to trust me. It's all going to make sense later, but now you need to do as I say and you won't get hurt."
She just nodded, still awe struck.
"Okay, the first thing you need to do is to find your birth parents."
"Why?"
"So that you can kill them"
