A few weeks passed and nothing interesting happened. Valarie had no luck finding my birth parents, but she did find out that my father was involved in a drunk driver accident. He was the drunk driver. We didn't know much about what happened, but we know that their was a mother and her daughter in the other car and that the mother died. It made me sick to think that he killed them, but I was going to kill him. I told myself that I will avenge her death.

Sam and I are on speaking terms again. The only bad thing was that Inga Dawson transferred to our school. She and Hunter were always together. The only thing I looked forward to was Justin. We were close and we were always together. Valarie told me that we would make a cute couple and frankly I think so too, but I don't know what we are. We have held hands and I have kissed him on the cheek quite a few times, but nothing. Nothing happened.

"So how was school?" Danny asked as I walked through the door. Today his new training hobby was trying to build a house of cards in the hallway. Why I didn't know, but it was starting to get annoying. Chris was always patient with him and I know that he can't help it, but sometimes I just wanna go to my room without having to dodge a few obstacles.
"It was fine." I replied.
"So... Do you want to help me?" He asked. How do I turn him down, he is so sweet. I loved Danny with all my heart, but he annoys me sometimes. I guess he is just playing the twelve year old brother role perfectly.
"I'm sorry Dan, but I have a ton of homework."
"Can you just keep talking to me for I while, because I missed your voice."
"Why don't we go to my room and we can talk while I do homework."

"Why did the alphabet decide to get involved with math!" I sighed out of frustration.
"Hey, don't ask me I only have middle school math." Danny said.
"What did you want to talk about?"
"I never said that I wanted to talk about anything."
"Dan, I can see when somethings bothering you."
"Um... It's Mom."
"What about Mom?"
"I heard her and Rob arguing and I think that he hit her. She had a blue eye this morning."
"What!? Why didn't you say something to me or to Chris?"
"I'm telling you now and I'm scared of him."
"Who? Chris?"
"No. Rob. He knows that I saw and he told me if I said anything that he'll kill me."
"I would never allow that." I got up and picked up my phone. I dialed the number and it started to ring.
"Hello." The voice answered on the other side.
"Hey, Josh. We need to talk can you come home tonight?"
"Yeah, sure I'll be there."

I don't remember much what happened. I just remembered yelling, a bang and total darkness. When I woke up I wasn't in my room, I was in a hospital room. I tried to sit up, but there was a pain in my side. I turned my head and I started straight into the baby blue eyes.
"What happened?" I asked.
"You got shot by your Mom's pshycotic boyfriend."
"Hunter." Was the last word I said before I blacked out.
