Bang Chan and Changbin have been close friends their entire lives. Well, what they call their entire lives. Chan left his home country, Australia, when he was only thirteen years old. He wanted to become an idol and trained under JYP Entertainment for four years. He had met Changbin one day outside of the company. The younger boy had no interest in becoming an idol, but was simply walking past when he bumped into Chan.

The poor boys ended up on their asses in the middle of the sidewalk. Chan had quickly scrambled up, muttering numerous apologies to the younger boy as he helped him back onto his feet. Chan felt ridiculously bad about nocking the boy over, and the last thing he expected the kid to do was start laughing his ass off. Soon, Chan couldn't help himself and began to laugh along with him.

Once the two boys had calmed down, the younger said

"I'm Changbin, sorry for being in your way." Chan looked at the boy, a dazzling smile gracing the younger's lips.

"I'm Chan, sorry for running into you."

After that simple encounter, they had become friends. He and Changbin were friends for the entire four years the Chan was at the company. During their friendship, Chan had caught feelings for a girl at the company named Sammy, who was also a foreigner, only from Canada and two years older.

The two of them had begun to date in secret, only Changbin knowing about the two. Everything was going fine between the two, as far as Changbin could tell. That was, until Chan appeared on his doorstep in the middle of the night. The poor boy was sobbing hysterically as he clung to Changbin like he was his only lifeline.

That was when all the secrets were unveiled.

Apparently for the whole year and a half that Chan and Sammy were together, Sammy would yell at him over the littlest things. She would hit him when he would accidentally get the wrong size drink from the cafe, when he would be even a few minutes late, and she even went as far as to make fun of his body.

He showed Changbin the scars from when he would cut himself, they littered his upper thighs so that he wouldn't be found out. All he could see was red. He was ready to march into the company and strangle Sammy to death, and he told Chan so. But his response is truly what broke his heart.

"Binnie, can you just hold me." Those were the only words that made it out of Chans mouth before he began violently sobbing. Scratching at his arms and neck as he curled into himself.

Changbin held him. He held him the whole night, even after they both fell asleep in his bed. He swore that he would never let anyone hurt his precious Channie again.

It's been a total of eight years since Chan had left his home. He quit JYP after that. The building brought back too many bad memories. He moved in with Changbin and his family until they two of them decided to move out.

Chan's journey back to a normal life was a hard one, but Binnie was there every step of the way. Their families joked about how Changbin was in love with Chan, but that wasn't the case. They were just friends, but Changbin and Chan would always only truly need each other.

Changbin was the one who held him through his vicious panic attacks. Changbin was the one who prevented unknown, dangerous people from getting too close to Chan. Changbin was the one who cuddled him to sleep every night, the one who kept the nightmares away, the one who saved him from taking his own life multiple times, the one who helped him to stop cutting.

Changbin was his savior. His guardian angel, and protector. Changbin was the one who did all those sweet, cliché, domestic things with him. He was Changbin's Channie, and Changbin was Chan's Binnie.

To this day, people looking from the outside were confused about why the younger boy was so protective over the older. He never let anyone he hasn't met first go anywhere near his Channie.

It was just the two of them, and that was how it was going to remain till the end of time, even if Changbin had to kill to keep it that way.

I wasn't initially planning on having that little twist, but I figured it would help the story end a little more openly so if people wanted a part two or something, or if I decided to write one, it would fit better. Hope you liked it! Bye loves! ~ Flower
