"But eommaaaa~" Chan whined, kicking his feet as Hyunjin buckled him into his car seat. "Lixie's too young to play wif me!"

"Don't be ridiculous, Chan. Lixie adores you, so play nice." Hyunjin states, shutting the door and climbing into the driver's seat. The boy whined the entire car ride, but his mom just tuned him out.

Hyunjin was due for some much-needed girls time, so she and Lina set up a play date for the babies. It was also an excuse to catch up with her favorite gossip aunty, but the kids didn't need to know that.

Luckily, the Kim family didn't live far, so they arrived at the house in under twenty minutes. Hyunjin hopped out the car, taking Chan out of his car seat and dragging him to the front door. She knocked, and Lina almost instantly opened the door.

"Took you long enough." She huffs, rolling her eyes before crouching down in front of Chan. "Hi Channie, Lix is in the living room."

"Hi aunty!" Chan absolutely treasured his aunt, and quickly rushed in to give her a hug. Lina chuckled, scooping the boy into her arms and propping him on her hip.

"I think you've grown since the last time I saw you!" She exclaims. It was false, the boy was still a tiny little thing, but he beamed as he puffed out his little chest.

"Reawy? I told yew I gwew, eomma!" Hyunjin smiles, pecking his cheek.

"You're right, Channie, I don't know how I didn't notice!" She ruffles his hair.

Over the sound of the boy's giggles was the distinct thump of tiny footsteps. Sure enough, Lixie came hurdling around the corner mere seconds later.

"Eomma! Yew didn' twell me Channie was here!" Felix exclaimed, her little hands on her hips as she scowled at her mom.

"Yah, don't look at me like that." Lina smooths the betrayed pucker between Lixie's brow with her finger.

"Hi Fewix." Chan mumbles after his mom shot him a warning glare. The little girl beamed, tugging on his shirt from his place in Lina's arms.

"Come pway, I got new wace caws!" Chan's face lit up at that. The one thing he admitted to having in common with his little cousin was a love of race cars.

"Yeah!" The boy shouts, wiggling until Lina put him down. The two kids rocket away and into the living room, their mothers chuckling at how fast Chan's mood changed.

"Appa got me dis one fow my bwirfday!" Felix proudly presents a bright red car which Chan ogles.

"Woah! Das so cool!" The boy bounces on his toes. "Can I hold it pwease?"

"Mhm, jus' be cwareful." The girl says authoritatively, allowing Chan to hold it.

The pair plop down on the ground, instantly launching into an intense game of race cars, though they both handled the red car with much more care.

After nearly four hours, their mothers enter the living room. Chan is telling a very animated story about school, Felix listening like it was the most exciting thing she'd ever heard.

"Channie, we've gotta go home now." Hyunjin calls after he's finished his story.

Chan turns with a big pout on his lips.

"But I don' wanna! Wanna stay an' pway wif Lixie more!" He whines, Felix nodding her head in agreement.

"Can we has a sweep over? Pweeease, eomma?" She pouts, giving her mom the best puppy dog eyes she could muster.

Lina is a weak woman when it comes to her baby, so naturally she caved.

"It's fine with me if Jinnie says it's okay." Both babies turn their pleading gazes to Hyunjin, who sighed in mock defeat.

"Alright, I'll go grab your things from home." She smiles as she watches Chan and Felix's faces light up.

"Yay!"

"Fank yew eomma!"

The two quite literally start jumping with joy, promptly sinking back into their game of racing.

"And to think that Chan said he didn't want to come over." Hyunjin laughs, shaking her head as she slips on her shoes.

"Seungmin's out of town for work, we could continue our gossip date and you could sleep over two." Lina suggests, eyes twinkling.

"That sounds perfect. I have some tea about Jisung that I didn't want to tell you while the kids were awake!" Lina gasps, clapping her hands together excitedly.

"Tell me everything once they're asleep!"

Hyunjin gives her a quick hug before rushing home, almost as excited as the kids.
