iv. 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲

Chapter four
— cosmic love!

Olivia sat in class, her head spinning, where was Barb? Where was Will?. Suddenly the small boring town of Hawkins wasn't so boring anymore, her thoughts were interrupted by the classroom door opening.

"Olivia Henderson?" A woman spoke gaining the blondes attention "if you'll come with me please" Olivia stood up ignoring the eyes that were following her every move, she grabbed her back exiting the room.

The blondes confused face deepened as she saw Nancy wheeler, Karen wheeler, and her own mother sitting at a lunch table
"Mom?" The blonde said walking over towards the table.

"If you will please sit down, Olivia" Powell said, she obliged sitting next to Nancy "this argument, you three had, what exactly was it about?" The officer asked

"It wasn't really an argument" Nancy said "yeah, me and Barb just wanted to leave" the girl shrugged "I didn't.. so I just told them to go home" 

"Then what" the officer looked between the two girls "then I went upstairs to put on dry clothes." Nancy replied "and I went home, without Barb, she stayed I don't know when she left but I know she stayed for a little while" the blonde said.

"And the next day, you went back and saw a bear, your thinking?" The officer asked earning a confused look from Olivia "I don't know what it was, but I think... I think maybe it took Barb"

"You need to check behind Steve's house —." The officer cut her off "we did, nothing, completely nothing"

"No bear, no car."

"What?" Nancy exclaimed "look, we figured that Barbara came back last night and then she took off, went somewhere else" he said "uh.. Callahan I called Mrs & mr Holland like yesterday and they said that she never came home, at all" the blonde spoke the two officers looking at each other.

"We'll go and have another look behind the Harrington boys house." He said making the girl nod.

"Has she ever spoke to anyone of you about leaving town before?" The two girls shook their heads "she would never do that" Nancy added

"She wasn't maybe upset about the fact that you were spending time with the this boy? Uh.. Steve harrington?" The officer asked nance "what? No!" She said

"Maybe she was jealous because she saw you go up to Steve's room?" He added "I can assure you officer, neither me or Barbara were jealous about Nancy going up to Steve's room, we just wanted to go home"

"And it wasn't like that" Nancy said "Steve and me, we're just, we're just friends" she shrugged glancing at her mom.

"We just talked" the girl shrugged
"Now was this before or after you changed out of your clothes?"

"I really hope dusty isn't included in this, liv" her mother said as the duo walked down the hallway of Hawkins high, her lips turned into a frown "he's not I promise, mom"

"And stay away from that Harrington boy, he seems like trouble honey" she said as they got into the car "believe me mom, I hate his guts"

Nancy and Olivia had met up with each other later that day to go find Jonathan, he was looking at coffins for Will, that made her frown.

"Hey" nance spoke "your mom said you'd be here" Nancy finished as Jonathan walked over to the girls "can we..uh can we talk for a second?" The blonde said as the trio walked over to the closest area to sit.

"It looks like some perspective distortion, but I wasn't using the wide angle" he looked at the Polaroid photo.

"It's weird" the blonde agreed "and you're sure you didn't see anyone else out there?" He shook his head "and she was there one second and then, she was gone" he shrugged.

"I figured she bolted"

"The cops thing she ran away, but they don't know Barb" Olivia said  "I went back to Steve's and I thought..I saw something.. some weird man or I don't know was." Nancy shrugged

"We shouldn't have came here" Nancy sighed "what did he look like" Johnathan said

"He didn't have a face" Nancy said turning back around
