Just a quick note before we start this chapter, I will only be writing the part where the reader is with the Princesses before and during the ceremony. And, after that I'll be going over a little bonus here, because I will not be doing the episode titled "The one where Pinkie Pie knows".
The only excuse is that the reader stayed at the empire to take care of Shining Armor and Cadance's duties while they went to Ponyville.
But now enough of that, and let's proceed to the chapter! I'm pretty sure I already used a similar picture, but I can't help it!! She's so CUTE!

Third Person P.O.V
It was another beautiful day in the Crystal Empire, all the crystal ponies all happy with their lives. But, the three royal's are preparing for something. They were sent an invitation for Cranky and Matilda's wedding.
Once (Y/N) learned that Celestia and Luna were also invited, she couldn't wait to see them again, along with Spike and the Mane 6. Before the day of the wedding, they decided to shop for humble gifts for the almost wedded couple.
They were preparing to leave the Empire to board the train, but (Y/N) noticed that Cadance was a bit sluggish on her movements. She didn't think too much of it since Shining Armor was right there beside her. They made it to the train station, and Cadance and (Y/N) were asleep during the ride. (Y/N) slept by the window, and Cadance was leaning on Shining.
They made it to Ponyville, and (Y/N) was the first to wake up. She stared at the royal couple in front of her and felt a bittersweet smile etched on her face. Simply because she was reminded by her parents. She would remember the love look in their eyes when they stared at each other, the way they would hold each other to comfort. She would even remember getting in between them for lots of hugs, and they would shower her with a lot of affection.
(Y/N) snapped back to reality as she realized Shining already woke Cadance, she smiled at two couple again and thought of an idea to try to occupy her mind. They got off the train carrying the presents they have by using their magic.
(Y/N): Hey, Cadance? Shining?
Princess Cadance: Yes, dear?
(Y/N): Can I go to Twilight's castle and meet Spike and the girls there? I'll meet you guys at the town hall.
Princess Cadance: Sure, (Y/N)!
Shining Armor: Make sure you make it in time before the wedding!
They waved at her as she starts to walk away, she waves back and calls back to them.
(Y/N): I will!
The young princess then makes it at the center of the Ponyville and sees many ponies that are helping Cranky and Matilda seem to be freaking out. She raises a brow in confusion before shrugging and walking away. Her calm walk has finally come to an end as she reached front door of Twilight's castle.
She puts down the present and knocked on the door. Spike opened the door and his eyes lit up when he saw (Y/N) and immediately rushed in to hug her and she was quick to return the embrace. She eventually pulled away and looked behind him expecting to see Twilight, but she's not there.
(Y/N): Where is Twilight, Spike?
Spike: Oh, she and the others went to go capture this bug bear creature.
