Chapter 20 (The Crystalling Part 1)

I'm back to dear readers of this book of mine!!

We are now at the start of Season 6, and who's ready to meet our little sweetheart?!💙

Also, tired and crazy Shining Armor is just hilarious.😂

Anyways, enough of this yapping of mine, and let's get on with the chapter!

I'm exhausted...

I would be lying if I said that Cadance and Shining Armor's baby is not very tiring. She's really adorable, but... Babies are a handful. I'm still just a teenager who is also new to this whole baby thing. But after watching Cadance and reading some books on parenting, I finally got the hang of it. It just felt so natural, especially since this foal is my godchild. Also, we had quite a shock when we finally saw her, Shining Armor even fainted when he saw his newborn foal. 

It revealed that their baby is actually a born Alicorn, and I wasn't perplexed as much. It was quite fascinating to see someone being born the same way as myself. Just like their baby, I was also born as an Alicorn, and that tiny connection and similarity made her really attached to me.

I'm not even exaggerating: When she first saw me, she just stared at me in awe, before bursting to a fit of giggles while reaching out to touch my face. Even when she got both her parent's attention, when I would walk in the room she just wanna be with me. And, when I'm nowhere near her, Cadance and Shining Armor would always tell me she would always be looking for me.

Right now, all of us are in the throne room discussing The Crystalling we will held for tomorrow. From what I learned in the history of the Crystal Empire, whenever a baby is born in the Crystal Empire, the parents bring it before the Crystal Heart. They get the purest shard of crystal they can find, then pick a crystaller to present the baby to everypony who comes. Then they all share the light and joy they feel, feeding it into the crystal that joins with the Heart, and increases its power.

Additionally, we are also the Royal Family here in the Crystal Empire so we have to follow tradition. Cadance was holding the baby in her hoof while seating at the throne, while me and Shining Armor are leaning against each other tiredly from all of our lack of sleep. 

Now that I got a good look at Cadance and Shining Armor, I can see their frazzled mane and tail, and dark eyebags underneath their eyes. I probably looked the same as well, my braided mane and tail has many little frizz sticking out in different directions, and I can feel my eyes drooping down more often. I haven't had a bad sleep schedule like this ever since the Grand Equestria Summit, I'm honestly surprised I still have my sanity together and I can still think straight.

Princess Cadance: We already said to our subjects about the Crystalling, but we still need to invite Celestia and Luna, as well as Twilight and her friends. 

(Y/N): I can send an invitation to both of them. I've been learning on how to make a Crystalling invitation, and with my magic it was quite easy. 

Princess Cadance: *chuckles* Go ahead, sweetie.

I took out two blue invitation cards, and start to write on it. Once I finished writing, I started to use my magic to wrap them in snowflakes. I walked towards the balustrade and used my magic to conjure up a bit of wind, and let the two invitations fly toward their destinations.
