Ch 2.5 The Doctor I

The next day Luke and his mom headed to the doctors office for a reason to the bedwetting. The ride was thirty minutes long and they stayed silent for the whole ride because of the heavy topic. When Luke arrived at the doctor building the first thing he did was go to the bathroom which was something he had to do increasingly more for an unknown reason. As he rejoined his mom they walked to the waiting room and his mom went  to sign in and Luke went to the left side. (The left side is for heathly asymptomatic or non contagious patients). Luke pulled out his phone and played angry birds 2 to take his mind off of wetting the bed. After thirty minutes the nurse called him back and he took off his shoes to be weighed and measured. As he stepped on to the scale he was 145.6 pounds and when he stood straight up he was 6'3'' exactly. Then they did a pressure test which he always passed. Then the nurse led them to a room and said doctor Foster will be with you shortly. About five minutes later the doctor walked in and said how are you doing today Luke. Luke said ok doc but something has been happening and I don't know why. Yes bedwetting correct? The doctor said. Luke just nodded. Then the doctor said this is a condition common in teenagers everywhere more boys than girls but each gender can develop this at any time in their life. His mom asked what can we do to stop this his doctor said three things cross my mind 1 sleep apnea 2 constipation 3 a broken vain in the bladder. Luckily these can all be tested and cured. So we can test all of these right now and you can come back later for results. Except for sleep apnea which you will need to see a specialist for. So he took Luke's blood and x-rayed Luke's bladder and told them to come back in two weeks.
