39 - SECRETS?

Time - 3.00 Am

The wall clocks hands ticked with every second passing by as it's sound echoed throughout the room

Everything was quite, but the storm inside my brain wasn't

I know, everything's over now... And he won't come back, I finally found my lost bestfrnds, got reunited with my unnies.. but still it feels like something's going wrong

Why do I not feel at peace?

Ever since that incident, i haven't been myself

No no no don't get me wrong, I do laugh with everyone..... But it's fake

I do act childish and always initiate conversation with them.... But it's just for show

All I do is pretend.....

They've worried enough about me, i don't really want them to overdo themselves because of me, a lowly pathetic girl who isn't even capable of speaking two sentences without stuttering anymore

And with all these going around my head suddenly I felt my throat drying up and so I tried to grab the water bottle kept on the table lamp

In a sip I drank half and the total amount of water present in it but still felt thirsty

So I just decided to get up and fill up my water bottle

Stupid right? Only if I would've taken tips from those horror movie characters

So silently I went outside my room nd up to the stairs, the mansion's still new to me so I walked slowly to not to loose my way

And then I reached to the kitchen getting near the water filter turning it on to fill up my bottle

As the water slowly filled up second by second the atmosphere around me got even weird
I felt a sudden chill went down my spine with the cold air flow

I felt something move behind me, as if a person and out of reflex I turned my head behind only to find nothing

Now my hands were trembling with fear, slowly gulping down the lump of my saliva I decided to just move to my bedroom without making any noice

I looked at the water bottle where it was before seeing as it was almost half filled I turned off the water filter

Just as I turned around my whole body froze seeing the sight infront of me

Infront of me was a person......i couldn't see his face..I could feel the wind's noise getting louder and suddenly a thunderstorm came by making me flinch on my place

But the next thing I saw was the most terrifying thing,
There stood he...Jake..

No
No no no no

He can't be here no

I stood frozen on my place, for a time I forgot how to breath
I felt as if everything had stopped and all I could see was Jake's creepy eyes and his lips smirking at me just like the day he - he tr-tu tried to ruin me

The glass water bottle fell on the floor from my hand
I didn't even knew if it made some kind of noise as if I had become deaf

My trembling hands went beside the kitchen counter as if trying to grab onto something

Jake was slowly taking long steps towards me, he's here... He's here to ruin me again

All of sudden I started hearing voices, my own voices...
The day when all that happened, my mind went back to there and all those begging pleads I said started surrounding my head
