Min-ho looked back at Y/n frozen at his place
.....Dad.....

That's something he had never heard since years and just her one word made him melt and tear up the tough person facade he was maintaining till now..

Y/n hugged him softly as he responded back almost immediately finding warmth he felt years ago in the embrace of his very own family.

Y/n - It's alright Dad, it's ok to cry for once to relieve your emotions you know? I'm here, everything's alright.

And after their small moment they slowly parted from their hug as Min-ho sniffed like a smile baby with red nose and puffy eyes

Min-ho - Thanks for giving me such a v-valuable  place in your life Y/n-ah.

He smiled at her
To get back her bright smile back, a genuine one

Y/n - I gotta thanks you as well Dad, after a long time I saw my dad in another person. Thanks for being my comfort place.

He nodded and suddenly his face expression turned serious

Min-ho - But Y/n you're taking a rash decision of joining the army, it's seriously very dangerous and on the other hand if you get caught them the enemies use really bad torture methods and-

Y/n - Hey hey dad, calm down. I have thought about it enough, I want to protect my loved ones...it's too much that they gotta always protect me, I just want to return the favour and if I can why shouldn't i?

Min-ho's eyes turned soft at listening to her innocent reasons, no personal profits are important to her as long as her loved ones are safe she's happy

Y/n - And beside, I should learn self defence to be able to protect me as well. After all these incidents the main thing I've realised is you can't just be always dependent on others, it'll only make them feel responsible for not being able to protect you. I'm going to become strong and make all of you proud dad

She said throwing a fist in air as he chuckled at her
