Chapter 5
"What do you want now?" I sighed as I once again managed to bump into Brandon. After that time I'd bumped into him after walking Finn to his lesson on his first day of school, he somehow managed to be everywhere I was at school.

The main weird event that I'd encountered was when I was at the shopping centre at the weekend with Vanessa. There was this black-hooded figure that was lurking in the corner of almost every shop that we went into. It was beginning to creep me out. I didn't know who this figure was and something like this had never happened to me before.

I wasn't sure how long this had being happening either. This was the first time I'd actually noticed it so it could have just began or being going on for ages for all I knew.

"I just want to talk." Brandon smirked, sitting down on the bench that was outside of the school. He grabbed hold of my hand and pulled me down too so that I was sat beside him. Ripping my arm out of his grasp, I shuffled away from him so that I wasn't sat so close to him anymore.
Groaning, I crossed my arms over my chest so he couldn't grab my hand again. "I've told you so many times that I don't want to talk to you."

"And what if I want to talk to you?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow at him.

"I don't care if you do or don't want to. I don't want to talk to you therefore I'm not going to. You can't and will not make me do something I'm not comfortable with or don't want to do. End of conversation, Brandon."
Brandon ran a hand through his hair as he let out an exasperated sigh. "I have a right to talk to you and I have a right for you to reply."
"You have no such right!" I snapped jumping up from the bench so that I wasn't sat near him. "I don't have to talk to you if I don't want to and I don't have to tell you anything! Leave me alone and stop trying to but your way into my life. We're not seeing each other anymore. You're my ex. You don't have that right anymore. Not that I should have told you everything even when we were together."
And with that, I turned away from Brandon and stormed off into the school building. I couldn't look at him any longer; he was making me so angry. If I could hit him I would've punched him so hard... but we were on school property and I would've being told off for it... and probably excluded from school which couldn't happen right now due to exams being so close.
I could deal with Brandon anytime but I couldn't deal with my exams once they were over. And at this point in time, my exams came before anyone. They determined my future.
After leaving Brandon I made my journey around the school to find either Finn or Vanessa. Vanessa had spent the night with her boyfriend so he was driving her to school and Finn had to leave early to do something he wouldn't tell me about. So I was left alone with no one to travel to school with.
Making my way up the stairs next to the Sixth Form common room, I abruptly turned the corner and bumped into a hard body. My arms shot out to grab the person in front of me to steady both myself and the stranger.
Looking up, a grin spread across my face when I saw who it was. "Finn! I was looking for you."
"You were?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he stared at me. Gripping my elbow gently, he moved me out of the way of the stairs and towards the double doors that led to the common room. "Where's Vanessa?"
"She stayed with her boyfriend last night so he's taking her to school. I had to travel here all by myself." I sighed dramatically, feigning sadness.
"Aw, baby." Finn replied in a baby voice as he reached over and squeezed my cheeks before proceeding to move them up and down.
"Ok, stop!" I laughed, reaching up and grabbing his hands to pull them away from my face. "You're making me look like an idiot."
Finn smirked at me, keeping his hands on my face. "I think you look cute."
"Nu uh," I disagreed, gently pulling his hands to remove them from my face. He finally gave in and removed them. "Thank you."
"I'll find another way to annoy you," Finn smirked. He linked my arm as he began to pull me away from the common room and in another direction. "By the way, I'm still to see the rest of your house."
My house wasn't all that great, I didn't see why he'd want to see it. Or maybe this was just because I'd lived in it all my life and I was used to it now.
"Well I'm free tonight if you want me to show you around." I offered.
