London, UK.

I could hear my parents discussing something quietly in my father’s office. The door was tightly shut and I had been banned from entering the room no matter what the problem was. My parents had been constantly on the phone these past few weeks and I had no idea at all what was happening.

Being the daughter of the all-time famous Victoria and William Riley was hard, I wasn’t going to lie. I had all the people at school trying to be my friends just too see how far they could get considering who my parents were. That was the reason why my friends group was limited to two people.

Myself and my best friend since primary school; Vanessa Pierce.

It sounded pathetic but it was the truth.

My parents were also the type of parents who thought that because they were loaded they could spoil me. I didn’t want them to buy my love with gifts and expensive clothes. I just wanted normal parents who didn’t think that money was everything; because it wasn’t. I didn’t need a lot of money. I was content with being surrounded with the people that I loved.

The discussion in my father’s office soon stopped and it all went quiet. Not that long passed before the door opened and I was caught standing outside, frozen.

“What’s wrong, honey?” my mum asked, forcing a smile on her perfect face.

I tried my very best to think of a lie on the spot. “Err… I was just passing when the door opened.” I replied before turning and running up the large staircase to my room.

Sydney, Australia.

Standing in front of my boss was one of the most awkward and uncomfortable things to ever do. I never knew what to do as I stood in front of his scrutinising things. On the desk in front of him he had three folders. One was my folder and the other two were unknown folders.

“So, I have a proposition for you.” He stated, clasping his hands on top of the folders. I nodded for him to continue as I tried my best to look confident. “We had a request, all the way from the UK for you to protect someone undercover.”

“Me? Protect someone? Who?” I asked suddenly interested in whatever my boss had to say. I’d never done something like this before.

“Her name is Evangeline Riley, her parents are very famous in the UK; probably America too. You may have heard of them, maybe not. Anyway, that’s not the point. The point is, they’ve requested someone to protect their eighteen year old daughter at her high school after the suspicion of her being stalked by an unknown person.”

So basically I was going undercover, in a high school, to protect an eighteen year old? Surely that’d be simple. Wouldn’t it?

“You’ll have to move to London to pose as a high school student which is why I chose you because you are one of the youngest members on the squad. Since you’re going undercover you’re going to have to change your name to Finn so if anyone was to recongnise you, which they shouldn't at all, you'll have a different name to go by. Are you willing to do it?” He asked, handing me over the three folders.

I nodded my head as I accepted the folders from his grasp. “Sure, I’m up for the challenge.”
