---The Titans had been training hard all week, and Beast Boy had pushed himself a little too far this time. As they gathered in the common room, Raven couldn't help but notice the pale tinge to his usually vibrant green skin."Hey, dude, you okay?" Cyborg asked, clapping Beast Boy on the back with a little too much force.Beast Boy winced, rubbing his stomach. "Yeah, just a little queasy. Probably had one too many tofu burgers for lunch."Raven arched an eyebrow, hiding a smirk behind her book. "Or maybe you finally realized that tofu isn't as appetizing as you claim it to be."Beast Boy shot her a mock glare. "Hey, tofu is a delicacy, okay? You just have no taste."Raven rolled her eyes, but she couldn't suppress the fond smile tugging at her lips. Despite his quirks, Beast Boy always managed to brighten her day with his playful banter. But as the evening wore on, it became clear that Beast Boy's condition was worsening. He grew increasingly pale and clammy, his jokes giving way to groans of discomfort."Okay, that's it," Raven declared, setting her book aside and marching over to Beast Boy's side. "You're clearly not well. Time for bed."Beast Boy protested weakly, but Raven was having none of it. With a firm hand on his shoulder, she guided him to his room, ignoring his feeble attempts at resistance.Once they reached his room, Raven tucked Beast Boy into bed, fluffing up his pillows and pulling the covers snugly around him. "There, that should be more comfortable."Beast Boy smiled weakly, his eyes half-lidded with exhaustion. "Thanks, Raven. You're the best."Raven rolled her eyes, but a hint of warmth crept into her voice. "Don't mention it. Now get some rest. I'll check on you later."As Raven turned to leave, Beast Boy reached out, grabbing her hand. "Wait, don't go. Can you stay with me until I fall asleep?"Raven hesitated, caught off guard by the vulnerability in his eyes. But she couldn't deny him, not when he looked so miserable."Fine," she relented, settling into the chair beside his bed. "But just until you fall asleep."As the minutes ticked by, Raven found herself growing more and more restless. Beast Boy's steady breathing filled the room, and she couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt for her earlier teasing."Hey, Beast Boy?" she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper."Yeah?" he murmured, his eyes still closed.Raven took a deep breath, steeling herself for what she was about to say. "I'm sorry for making fun of you earlier. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."Beast Boy cracked open one eye, his lips curling into a tired smile. "Hey, it's okay. I know you were just teasing. Besides, what are friends for, right?"Raven smiled, a warmth spreading through her chest. "Yeah, something like that."And as she watched Beast Boy drift off to sleep, his face relaxed in slumber, Raven couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected bond that had formed between them. Despite their differences, they were there for each other when it mattered most. And as Raven settled in for the night, she knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, one joke at a time.
