The Teen Titans were enjoying a rare peaceful day at Titans Tower, each of them engaged in their own activities. Starfire and Robin were busy preparing a new training regimen, while Cyborg tinkered with a new gadget in his workshop.

Raven, however, noticed something unusual. Beast Boy, normally the most energetic and cheerful member of the team, had not left his room all day.

"Has anyone seen Beast Boy?" Raven asked as she floated into the common room.Starfire looked up from her conversation with Robin, concern evident in her eyes. "No, Raven. I have not seen him since yesterday."

Cyborg frowned, wiping his hands on a rag. "That's not like him. He's usually the first one to the breakfast table."A knot of worry formed in Raven's chest. "I'll go check on him."

She made her way down the hallway to Beast Boy's room, knocking softly on the door. "Garfield? It's Raven. Can I come in?"There was a long pause before she heard a muffled voice. "Yeah, come in."Raven opened the door to find Beast Boy sitting on his bed, his knees drawn up to his chest. His eyes were red and puffy, evidence of recent tears. Seeing him like this broke her heart. She walked over and sat beside him, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"Gar, what's wrong?" she asked softly, her voice full of concern.Beast Boy took a shaky breath, his voice trembling as he spoke. "Today... today is the anniversary of my parents' death. I miss them so much, Rae. It hurts."Raven's heart ached for him. She pulled him into a tight hug, allowing him to cry on her shoulder. "Oh, Gar," she whispered, her voice filled with empathy. "I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how hard this is for you."

He clung to her, his sobs wracking his body. "I just... I just want to know when it'll stop hurting so much. When will it get better?"Raven held him tighter, her heart breaking for the pain he was feeling. She gently pulled back, looking into his tear-filled eyes. She leaned in and kissed him lightly, a soft, comforting gesture.

"Soon, love," she whispered against his lips. "It will get better soon. I promise."Beast Boy looked at her, his eyes still filled with pain but also with a glimmer of hope. "Do you really think so?"

Raven nodded, her expression tender and sincere. "I do. And until it does, I'm here for you. We'll get through this together."He took a deep breath, feeling a bit of the weight lift from his shoulders. "Thank you, Rae. I don't know what I'd do without you.""You don't have to face this alone, Gar," Raven said softly. "We're all here for you. And I'll always be here for you."

They sat together in silence for a while, Raven's presence offering the comfort and support Beast Boy needed. Gradually, his sobs subsided, and he felt a sense of calm begin to wash over him.

As the day went on, Beast Boy knew that the pain of losing his parents would never fully go away. But with Raven by his side, he also knew that he had the strength to face it. And in time, the pain would become more bearable. For now, he took solace in the love and support of his friends, especially the girl who held him close and promised him that things would get better soon.
