It was a peaceful morning at Titans Tower, and for once, the team had no pressing missions or emergencies to handle. Each Titan was enjoying the rare tranquility in their own way. Cyborg was in the kitchen, tinkering with a new gadget while sipping on his favourite blend of coffee. Starfire and Robin were sparring in the training room, their movements precise and graceful.
Beast Boy and Raven were in the living room, sitting comfortably on the couch. Raven was engrossed in a book, her expression serene. Beast Boy, on the other hand, was playing a video game, his fingers flying over the controller with practised ease.
As the morning progressed, Beast Boy began to feel the effects of staying up too late the previous night. He yawned widely, the sound breaking the silence in the room.
Raven glanced up from her book, raising an eyebrow. "Tired?"
Beast Boy rubbed his eyes and nodded. "Yeah, I stayed up too late last night playing this new game. It's awesome, but I think it's catching up with me."
Raven gave a small smile, her eyes softening. "Maybe you should take a nap."
"Nah, I'm good," Beast Boy replied, though another yawn quickly contradicted his words.
Raven chuckled softly and returned to her book. They continued in their peaceful coexistence, the only sounds being the clicking of Beast Boy's controller and the occasional turn of a page. Suddenly, another yawn escaped Beast Boy, this one even louder and more exaggerated.
"Seriously, Gar," Raven said, looking up again. "You need sleep."
Beast Boy shook his head, but his eyelids were already drooping. "I'm fine, Rae. Just...a little...tired."
Within moments, his eyes closed, and he slumped against the back of the couch. Raven watched him for a moment, her heart warming at the sight of her boyfriend finally succumbing to sleep. She placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, shaking her head with a fond smile.
As she went back to her book, she felt a tug on her sleeve. Looking down, she saw Beast Boy had shifted in his sleep, resting his head on her shoulder. His breathing was soft and even, and he looked peaceful.
Raven sighed, unable to suppress a smile. She adjusted her position slightly to make him more comfortable and continued reading. It wasn't long before she felt her own eyelids growing heavy. The peaceful atmosphere and the warmth of Beast Boy's presence were incredibly soothing.
Without realising it, Raven began to yawn as well. She fought to keep her eyes open, but it was a losing battle. The rhythmic sound of Beast Boy's breathing was like a lullaby, and soon, Raven's book slipped from her fingers as she drifted off to sleep.
A few hours later, Cyborg walked into the living room, wiping his hands on a towel. He paused when he saw the sight before him. Beast Boy and Raven were both asleep on the couch, Raven's head resting on Beast Boy's, and his arm wrapped around her waist. They looked so peaceful and content that Cyborg couldn't help but smile.
He quietly grabbed a blanket from a nearby chair and gently draped it over the sleeping couple. He took a moment to admire the scene before heading back to his workshop, deciding to let his friends enjoy their well-deserved rest.
When Starfire and Robin finished their training session and joined Cyborg in the kitchen, he motioned for them to be quiet. "Shh, come take a look at this," he whispered, leading them to the living room.
Starfire's eyes widened in delight, and she clasped her hands together. "Oh, they are the most adorable!"
Robin chuckled softly. "Looks like they finally got some rest."
The three Titans watched for a moment longer before retreating to give their friends some space. It was a rare and precious sight, one that reminded them of the simple joys of friendship and love.
Hours later, as the afternoon sun streamed through the windows, Beast Boy stirred. He blinked sleepily, realising where he was and who he was holding. A soft smile spread across his face as he gazed at Raven, still sound asleep.
"Hey, Rae," he whispered, brushing a strand of hair from her face.
Raven slowly opened her eyes, blinking in confusion before a smile of her own appeared. "Hey, Gar."
"Sorry I fell asleep on you," he said sheepishly.
"It's okay," Raven replied, snuggling closer. "I didn't mind."
They stayed like that for a few more moments, enjoying the warmth and comfort of each other's presence. Beast Boy yawned again, making Raven chuckle.
"Looks like you still need more sleep," she teased.
"Maybe," he admitted. "But as long as you're here, I don't mind."
Raven kissed his forehead, her heart full. "Me neither."
And so, they stayed wrapped in each other's arms, savouring the rare and precious moments of peace and quiet, knowing that whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together.
