Empty hallway
Quinn's POV"Come out, Come out wherever you are." I could hear the sound of Sean's voice. This hiding spot wouldn't last me for long, Sean was coming.
I walked back towards the window, and peaked out when Sean was in front of a classroom across from me, he opened the door. "Boo!" There were screams, he just found more people.
"Well would you look at this." Sean said, flicking on the lights, which were off. "A classroom full of kids."
I dropped down to the floor and thought for a second. I could always step out and yell at him and start running. He would probably start shooting at me. He wouldn't be stupid to chase me right?
Then again he was stupid in the classes I had with him, which now that I think about it. He wasn't in my morning classes.
Bang, Bang, Bang. More shots rang out and screams came.
My breathing quickened. I closed my eyes and breathed in and out, trying to control my breathing. Which I did again. I stood up and opened the door.
I slowly walked back ready to run. "Sean!" I called out. I could hear footsteps and Sean slowly peaked out.
"Quinn? Why don't you come out? Come talk with me." Sean said. I could see him grinning.
"How about you come and catch me." I ran out of the classroom.
"You little-" I heard footsteps and looked behind me. Sean was following me; he really was stupid. He was following me. I turned down a few hallways, trying to catch some speed.
There were shooting bullets flying past me, I ducked down as Sean started firing. I turned another corner. Then I did it again before Sean turned down the hallway and hid in another classroom.
I looked around quickly trying to see where I could hide, there were cabinets that I could probably fit in, I opened one and closed it just as the door opened. There were footsteps, I hope it was a teacher or a student.
I had to hide somewhere else Sean was going to find me in that other classroom. At Least I got him away from those students, maybe they escaped by now. Though this may not end up good for me.
"I know you're here Quinn." Sean had said, there was a bunch of noise like something was being knocked down.
There were some other noises, like cabinets opening, It was getting closer, and closer. There was a moment of silence. I could hear my own breathing. There was nothing. Maybe Sean had left? Maybe he is not in the classroom anymore.
Just then the doors swinging open and I jumped. Sean's face was looking straight at me. "Found you." He said smiling.
He grabbed a handful of my hair and dragged me out. I was screaming tell him to let me go. He pushed me against a cabinet, gun pointed at me.
"Look what we have here. Thinking you could have hid from me. It looks like your time trying to be a hero has expired." He said
"Sean, you can still walk out from this. You can stop this all now." There was a door that opened down the hallway I could hear. Maybe it was the students getting out of that classroom.
"I'm not gonna walk away from this. Not when I can be famous." Sean said laughing.
"You aren't gonna be famous!" I said
He just laughed. "Oh Quinn. The Senior who had a crush on me. Just to think that I killed your sister." He does know Phoebe is still alive. I don't think he knew a lot of students got out either. "Just as I told my other victims, I hope you said your goodbyes when you had the chance."
"Wait Sean N-" I sprang up.
Shots were fired. Bang, Bang, Bang.
I fell to the ground and hunched over in pain. I had been shot. Sean just laughs. I brought the hand that was out from my stomach and looked at it. Red Blood. My stomach and my chest was hurting as I put a hand over my chest. I was breathing heavily.
"Tried to stop me, I see." He said grinning.
Down the hall I could hear doors opening and footsteps coming closer. Could it be the police?
"Sean." I said, I was starting to breathe heavily. "Please."
"Shut up! I should let you suffer and die instead of having a quick death for getting people out for trying to stop me." Sean said waving the gun around in the air.
Sean started talking about things, pulling out a note that he had from his pocket. Maybe it was his notes on what he was planning to do. I tried to start crawling to the door before another gun shot rang out.
I screamed in pain as another one hit my leg. "Stay where you are! Dont fucking move!" Just then the door opened. Police officer yelled commands at Sean to drop the gun.
My breathing was starting to become heavy. I turned on my back and turned my head and looked at Sean who was yelling at the police. The police were yelling back. "Drop the Gun!" The police were shouting and more commands were being thrown at him.
Sean shook his head before raising his gun. The Police shot him. Bang, Bang, Bang. Sean dropped to the ground.
The police went over to him and moved the gun out of his hand and knocked it away. A Swat officer came into my view. "You're gonna be okay." The Swat officer said
He radioed something I could hear, I could barely hear anything, Two hands were pressing down on my wounds as my hand slowly became weak and let go falling to the ground. Paramedics soon rushed in carrying their equipment and an orange backboard.
They were yelling something to each other as I was being hooked up to something. A heart monitor. My vision was starting to go in and out. The head was lifted as they placed an Oxygen mask over my head. They started packing my wounds trying to get the bleeding to stop.
The paramedics asked the police something as they came over and helped with something as I was lifted onto something. A backboard. My breathing was becoming heavier, and my eyes were becoming hard to keep open.
I looked around. Police officer surrounding, protecting. My eyes slowly shut. "We are losing her!" A faint voice yelled.
A warm feeling came over me. All I knew was that I was safe, but not for long.
