“ Ashok bhaiyya, two Masala Malai Chai, please. ”
Frowning at the decoration, I took out a disoriented bunch of flowers from glass flowerpot. I tried to assemble them in a perfect bouquet of red roses and white lilies. Tugging my lips between teeth, I carefully placed back flowers in flowerpot. My sore mood which was betided because of the misplace adornment of flowers, immediately transmogrified into a full blown grin as a smell of authentic spices enthused me, satisfying my mid afternoon cravings. Drumming my fingertips on counter of office canteen, I was bobbing my head in patience.
“ Here is Bansal's favorite Masala Malai Chai with butter bun maska. ”
I grinned at Ashok Bhaiyya, the owner of my bank canteen. Just then a sudden strong branded smell of perfume cringed me internally. I knew this self-proclaimed queen of my office. Rolling my eyes at that person, I swirled on my axis.
“ You should completely cut down your sugar intake. You are gaining pounds day by day. You are becoming fatty. ”
Mishti gasped dramatically, witnessing the tray of food. Mishti, a self obsessed lady who had problem with me. Staring at Mishti with blank expression, I took out ten rupees from my bag. I turned towards Ashok Bhaiyya.
“ Bhaiyya, khulle paise hai kya ? ”
( Do you have change? )
Though the Ashok Bhaiyya was perplexed but he still placed ten coins of one rupee on my hand. I kept nine coins in my coin pouch and bend down to collect something. I glanced at Mishti with my famous smile which Naina called as mocking smile. Holding her hand, I put down that one coin on her palm.
