Weeks, or months, I wasn't sure anymore. I just knew I hadn't really been focused on anything.

Where had Haze gone? Here one day gone the next I guessed, probably switched facilities. I didn't need him.

Late nights, alot if people tended to stay up late especially before a big mission, I knew I'd find someone to talk to there, though I wasn't even sure I wanted to talk.

Wandering out the the maim room, hushed voices cut out as my footsteps echoed and eyes landed on me, the room tense and the air tight. After the men recognized me whispers continued, I walked to get a drink or ti just sit down, not many were up but I didn't want to he close to people, I heard my name a few times in conversations as I walked by the groups huddled together. Then Hazes name, then the term KIA, is that where Haze was? Dead.

I felt my chest tighten a bit, what was wrong with me, I didn't care for him.

A soft hand rested on my shoulder, I flinched, though I was more upset that I'd been broken from my train of thought, I couldn't garentee I'd get it back.

Sighing I turned around slowly to meet the eyes of a kind looking man, a bit shorter than I was imagining he didn't say anything just stared at me.
