Anusha,
I woke up the next morning in an unfamiliar room. The bedsheets were dark and matte instead of my floral printed sheets. The color of the walls was different. It was dark silvery instead of purple. The room was minimal instead of my floral designs.
I had a bad headache as well. I didn't know where I was or what had happened. I scanned the room, my eyes half closed. I was soon distracted by a knock on the closed door, followed by the opening of it only to reveal a muscular guy, whose height reached the frame of the door. He had tattoos on his left hand and was wearing a black t-shirt with trousers.
"You up?"
"Judging by the state I am in right now; I don't think this resembles sleep in any form." I replied, a sudden hit of annoyance hitting me early in the morning.
"Why are you girls always annoyed?", he grinned.
"You guys annoy us." I bit back in.
"Nice to meet you too, abb niche chalegi?"
"Naam bata de pehle"
"Vihaan Oberoi, ma'am." I think I caught him bow down for a second.
"OH my god.", I whispered to myself and straightened up.
"Sir? nahi, abhi toh dost hai, OMG what the fuck happend?!" I was coming back to my senses.
"Niche chal at least, your friends aren't the ones to wake up, toh tu hi uth ja."
"Imma wake the girls up first."
He nodded and showed me the respective rooms. It was easy to wake Aishiki up, Ankita and Sonakshi were the major problems.
Ankita still woke up after several shouts and water splashes. Sonakshi slept as if she was in a coma.
We came down and I started preparing breakfast. Sonakshi's footsteps creaked soon after followed by a string of curses.
"Kiska baap ka shaadi hai beyy utha diya mujhe itna jaldi." she sounded irritated.
"Bhai, good morning.", I turned towards her with a smile and a calm greeting.
She rubbed her eyes, "Morning hua bhi nahi hai"
"It's almost 10 abb breakfast karle c'mon."
"Heyyyyy", Ishaan was running down the stairs.
Aishiki followed him, almost breathless.
Ankita, Sonakshi and I looked towards one another. I was cooking, Sonakshi was upstairs, Ankita was scrolling. Aishiki had escaped, she was going to get scolded someday.
"Where were you?", I fixed her with a stern gaze. She looked at me in tiny with puppy eyes as if I was her mother and she had broken my favorite vase.
"C'mon, don't sneak out like that, what were you even doing up there? making out? you are all messy, breathless and your clothes were out of place.
Aishiki hurried towards me and wrapped her hand around my neck and rested her head on my shoulder and whispered, "We were solving puzzles, I got bored, I scattered the ones he had solved hence the giddiness, he was tickling me hence the messy hair and outlook, we might have kissed after that hence the out of place clothes." she gave me a summary of the whole thing. God, this girl!!
"Breakfast now." I said as I put the last piece of pancake on the plate.
The girls were the ones to hover over the table and devour the food, the boys were on the other hand gentle and well-mannered. I set the plates on the table, but Aahaan and Vihaan were missing.
