The young woman smiled at the younger man as he handed her the gold coins that a thief just tried to run off with. Usually Y/N wouldn't be the grounds of Neverwinter, especially after Forge Fitzwilliam became ruler of the place, but unfortunately he has found himself back here again. He was planning the heist of a life time, one that would get him in the history books, even possible go down as the greatest thief to ever exist. What was the Heist exactly, well it was to rob Fitzwilliam and give 'most' of what's in his vault the people his oppressed over the years. It was easier said than done of course.Y/N: Its no problem, really. Just glad I could help.
He smiled back at the older woman, his mask and hood lowered as to not wanting to scare anyone around him.
Woman: Oh you're such a gentleman, however could I repay you for stopping that scoundrel?
He raised an eyebrow, he wasn't too sure on how to answer her question.
Y/N: W-Well there's no need ma'am, just happy to help. Now if you'll excuse me.
With a slight bow of his head, he turned away and begun walking away from the older lady. He swiftly pulled his hood and mask up, and walked into an alley. He quickly got to work climbing the bricked walls, using his signature knives as help. Once he got to the roof, he was able to get a good lay out of the land.
He needed to lay low, it was still bright out and anyway could spot him from up there. He crouched down and reached into his cloak, pulling out a journal with some of his notes inside. He let out a sigh as he began to speak to himself.
Y/N: Fitzwilliam's got this place locked tight, guards everywhere as expected and not to mention that mysterious wizard he has with him most of the time.
He had a feeling that wizard was gonna be the hardest part about this heist. He clicked his tongue and put his journal back in his pockets.
Y/N: Alright time to get a closer look.
He whispered to himself as he got into the running position and sprinted off. When he got close to the edge of the buildings roof he leaped off with all his might, towards the other roof ahead of him. He made sure to make as little sound as possible, though it was a bit hard as you sort of had to make some sound running rooftop to rooftop. Thankfully even if someone did hear him, he was too quick for them to actually spot him.
After a few more rooftops he stopped, getting that closer look that he wanted.
Y/N: Going through the front is definitely a no go... hmmm what about the back?
He began again, this time it was way easier to traverse as the buildings got closer together and as a result created a labyrinth of dark back alleyways.
Y/N: This could work, theres- huh?
He perched himself on beam as he looked down into the alley. It seemed some guard's we escorting two prisoners.
Y/N: This was definitely not right.
Everything about this situation felt suspicious to him. "Why take the prisoners to some quiet back alley; unless it was to execute them" he had thought to himself.
Y/N: That's not gonna- wait...
He cut himself off again as he got a better look at the prisoners.
Y/N: Well I'll be if it isn't Edgin and Holga.
He got down lower to where he was, getting ready to intervene when he needs to. But first he shall watch.
Blackwood: On your knees.
