Before meeting their brother at Sciton, Tyler had taken Andrew around the city to do some quick errands. Firstly, there were some things Tyler needed to take care of for P3. Andrew had commented how it was actually nice seeing Tyler become so preoccupied lately. The older witch agreed, and said it was actually a really good stress reliever. Andrew knew Tyler was doing his best to keep him distracted, but appreciated the attempt. They had a quick lunch and decided to swing by Luna's place to see if there were any demonic happenings in the city. Thankfully for them, it had been quiet on the demonic front, but also it was a little worrisome. Tyler informed Luna about the demon named Athulak and warned her to be careful.

“You know I'm always careful, Halliwell,” the cop said, “but I'm more concerned about you being careful.”

Tyler asked what she meant, but Luna refused to say anything. Andrew had been listening here and there, and could sense there was a little jealousy in Luna's tone, but he didn't care enough to make any comments. By early evening, Tyler couldn't think of anything else to do and asked Andrew if there was anything he could think of doing before heading to Sciton.

“You probably won't like it, but,” Andrew watched as Tyler's expression immediately fell, “I wanted to check in with Roland. You know, to make sure he's doing alright.”

“Yeah, okay, we can do that.” Tyler said and started heading to Roland's apartment, much to Andrew's surprise. Tyler cleared his throat and glanced over at his brother, “I've kinda been wanting to thank him again anyway. You know, for coming to the club.”

Andrew looked over at Tyler and smiled softly, “He'll appreciate that.”

Once Tyler entered the parking lot and found a parking space, the boys made their way up to the apartment and Tyler was actually kind of nervous. He watched as Andrew knocked on the door and when Roland answered, he was happy to see Andrew. When he noticed Tyler was with him, he smiled even brighter. “Hey there, boys. What can I do for you?” He invited them inside and both brothers walked in and made their way to the living room.

Since this was Tyler's first time inside, he made a few mental notes on his surroundings but that was only to ignore the nausea he was currently feeling. Andrew let Roland know they were checking up on him, which the man greatly appreciated. “I'm also glad you came, Tyler. Must be lucky to be visited by all three Charmed Ones in a week.”

Tyler felt frozen in his spot and could feel his mouth start to dry up. It took a bit, but he finally managed to completely breathe before he worked up the courage to say something. “I've hated you…” While Roland looked at Tyler,  Andrew looked at the both of them, mentally wishing this wouldn't turn into a fight.

“I've hated you for so long,” Tyler continued, his face turning red, “I've painted a picture of you as the bad guy for such a long damn time, but now,” Tears formed in the young man's eyes, but he didn't bother to try to get rid of them, “I don't know what to think of you anymore. Do I continue to perceive you as a villain or someone who's just misunderstood?”

Roland could feel himself become emotional now. He wanted to hug Tyler, but he honestly had no idea where this was going. “Like I've told your brothers Tyler, I'm not innocent. But I know what I've done wrong and I swear to God I've been doing all that I can to make it up to you.” The man sniffled before he continued, “All three of you. Whether you believe it or not, I care about you both. And your brother.”

As much as he tried, Tyler couldn't keep it in anymore. He began to cry and could feel himself start to fall, but his father grabbed onto him and wrapped his arms around him. “I'm proud of you, Tyler. I'm so proud of everything you've done. You have done such a great job making sure your brothers are safe.”
