season six, episode seven
"Dr Shepherd."
Gabriel Carter smiled when seeing Amelia Shepherd sitting at the same table where his food was placed, "Dr Carter," Amelia said when looking at the man, "So glad you could join me," He spoke, sitting down in the chair opposite hers, "Oh, that's yours?"
Gabriel hummed, "I forget my water." He said, putting down his bottle of water, "Busy day?" He asked her, "About normal." Amelia answered him, "I had twelve patients... all within a half-hour." He admitted to her.
Amelia looked at the trauma surgeon, "This is nice." Gabriel admitted with a smile, "What is?" Amelia asked him, "You and I having lunch together, after us sleeping together," He said as Amelia looked around, "Can't you forget about that,"
Gabriel makes a face, shaking his head, "Mm, nope." He said to her, "You know, this is not a date," She stated, motioning between them both, showing off her dumped smile.
"Of course, it's not a date."
Gabriel looked at the Shepherd female, "If it were, you'd actually be enjoying yourself." He said to her, "We'd be having dinner in an historic lodge." He said as Amelia interrupted him, "Air is too thin in the mountains. Hard to breathe, doesn't sound like much fun." Amelia explained.
Gabriel was about to say something when Amelia stopped him, "How about we eat at the same time, not together, in silence?" She asked, taking a bite out of her burger which left a bit off ketchup on her upper lip, "Um, you should know—"
"Dude, silence." Amelia said when looking at the trauma surgeon, "Right." Gabriel said, "Don't call me dude, and there's ketchup on your face," He said, getting his now empty tray in hand, standing up off of the chair he was sat in seeing Amelia wipe at the ketchup mark.

"Gabriel?"
Addison looked at the trauma surgeon who came into the kitchen area, "What are you doing here?" She asked when Gabriel looked at his friend, "Apparently a patient of mine is here." He said as Cooper looked at the Carter male.
The two had apologised as Charlotte was his boss and Cooper was his boss' husband and if that meant being nice to the Paediatrician so that he could stay at St Ambrose then so be it, as the group spoke about Jake's daughter dating someone close to their age.
"Well, she should date a grad student then." Sam Bennett admitted to Addison, "Jake must be blowing a gasket." He said as Sheldon leaned in when Sam whispered, "Why is he blowing a gasket? And more importantly, why are we whispering?"
