After the short but joyous birthday celebration for raghav ..kamla pakya and sammy left the hospital. .........kalpi slept in raghav's arm's. ...in her hospital bed ..Raghav had refused the temporary make shift bed the ward had offered for him....Raghav was holding and protecting kalpi........"he loves his wife so much.......I wish my husband was like him" the night nurse whispered to the ward assistant after she had taken kalpi's pressure. ........ "Yes that's how my father was with my mother ." replied the ward assistant and I always remember his words to take good care of my wife....I am not a wealthy person sister but I am happy. with what god has blessed me with..my wife and children are always happy ...added mani the ward assistant ....."Shhhhh " Nurse kavitha whispered. ....don't talk so loudly you might wake sir up.."come on" let's go out ..our work is done for now. ........they left...............kalpi held raghav' close to her .he was sleeping soundly like a small child .no worries no tension.....he was really asleep. .a silent tear escaped kalpi's eyes....Raghav really loved her.....they were soul mates for a lifetime and for all generation...kalpi thanked bappa.........raghav stirred but slept on till the crack of dawn..while back at the kapoor mansion pakki waited in vain but raghav had not turned up...what was so important that he did not return home..pakki called up shiv....her spy ..( so she thought....)...raghav had bought the spy over ......"where is my husband ....."shiv " pakki shouted over the phone..."madam pakki sir is in sammy sir's house I have my binoculars focused on him right now "shiv lied.when in fact shiv was at home watching cricket on television. ....shiv quickly informed raghav who immediately called pakki...the phone rang for a long time. ..finally pakki answered. ...."pakki I will be back in the morning. ..I 'm going through some papers with sammy... " said raghav .then raghav hung up....pakki was not convinced at all..she grabbed her car keys and rushed out..... ........while in the hospital kalpi was urging raghav to hurry before pakki smells something amiss.raghav kissed kalpi and rushed out ..and while driving he called up sammy who was waiting when raghav reached sammy's house.....sammy drew the curtains aside in case pakki decided to go there and true enough sammy saw the silhouette of pakki hidden behind a tree watching the house......raghav sat in full view of pakki 's hidden figure. ........".she is out there raghav I just saw her arrive said sammy and handed some papers to raghav........pakki drove away from there and reached home in frustration....and threw her handbag angrily on to the sofa all her plans had been ruined she had prepared a candle light dinner to celebrate raghav's birthday...the cake was still on the table.....pakki pushed the cake off the table and rushed to her room and slammed the door shut........ Raghav came home two hours later showered and was ready to leave the house again......pakki was beside him a sweet smile on her face. " raghav you look tired please rest at home I will make coffee for you......" she offered but raghav said " I made my own coffee. ....." oh raghav you should have woken me up.....said pakki""and raghav replied" you were sound asleep I did not have the heart to wake you up.......I have to leave now .said raghav and left.....while pakki built up castle's in the air that raghav cared for her.......Raghav went to his office for a short while then went back to the hospital leaving instructions to sammy to inform pakki he had gone for a meeting in case pakki called.............................when he reached the hospital he saw kalpi happy with kamla ma by her side.....a little later the nurse wheeled a ultrasound scanning equipment to the room and pulled the screen waiting for doctor krish......he arrived and examined kalpi's belly moving the device up and down while watching the monitor " Mr Singhania " you can come in now and raghav did....he saw a small shape on the monitor and heard heart beat..raghav was thrilled to see his baby in kalpi's womb "yes that's your baby all right" doctor krish confirmed and scrutinised closer. "Mr Singhania it's a double bonus....announced. ... doctor krish...Raghav blinked then it hit him he brightened up you mean twins. "..raghav shouted ..he couldn't contain himself causing kamla to drop the thermos flask she was holding. "Yes Mr Singhania you are having twin babies. ...Congratulations. ......"thank you doctor " raghav was overjoyed he rushed from behind the screen and hugged kamla....." Kamla ma we're having twins..then raghav realized what he had done...he said " I am sorry kamla ma....It's ok beta I am happy. ....Raghav bend down and touched kamla's feet and sought her blessings ...kamla then went behind the screen and saw the tiny baby in kalpi's womb and cried ..aai" please don't cry pacified kalpi.......it's tears of joy kalpi I am so happy. ..said kamla and wowed that she would never let pakki harm raghav and kalpi.....the doctor and nurse left....and raghav hugged kalpi while kamla smilled and pakya who had just arrived was thrilled he was going to be uncle to two babies. ........Meanwhile at the chawl Vittal was wondering where kamla had gone...she was not home quite often.he would ask her when she got back home.he showered and ate alone....usually kamla would be there......when kamla stepped into the house he asked "kamla you seem tired and happy at the same time "what's going on ......Kamla felt rather guilty for hiding this big truth and Vittal as kalpi's father had every right to know about his rajkumari kalpi...but when kamla thought of Vittal's anger she remained silent and decided to let him know as soon as possible before he found out from someone else. ..."I have been visiting a sick friend in hospital vittal and she is recuperating well..."said kamla looking at Bappa's photo in silent supplication to help her......."has kalpi come back from Netherlands kamla......I hope she is safe ...it's so scarry to think what has happened to The Malaysian MH 17 flight from Amsterdam ...." yes vittal it's sad all those on board perished ...... said kamla our kalpi has returned safely and we will visit her in Pune soon........kamla was glad Vittal did not suspect anything....................Raghav returned home that evening and quickly went to his room and switched on his lap top to see what was going on in the house through the installed hidden cameras. . Raghav saw pakki heat up milk in a pot the quickly scanning the kitchen to see if anyone was watching. .....she quickly took a small packet from her saree waist line and emptied the powered substance into a glass and poured milk and stirred it well placed it on a tray and quickly left .......for her room........Raghav hurried out to the kitchen and took a mug and emptied the spiked milk into it ..then he took a similar glass and poured the uncontaminated milk from the pot and placed it on the tray and poured the spiked milk back into the pot and rushed back to his room when he saw pakki coming out wearing a dressing robe.........Pakki took the tray when gauri stopped her"pakki you seem happy " said gauri looking at pakki and caught a flimsy lace peeping out of the dressing robe........after tonight raghav will be mine forever Kaloi out of the picture for good" pakki laughed and proceeded to raghav's room.....and when raghav saw pakki he quickly shut his laptop and missed gauri on camera .....raghav saw pakki walking to his room wearing a dressing robe and thought "in his mind oh my god she is so sleazy and cheap..."I am your friend she had said " and how gullible he had been believing her Raghav thanked bappa for showing the truth about pakki and gauri...pakki was ready to the extent of spiking milk just to get to him"raghav I brought you milk said pakki and gave the glass of milk to raghav and sat on the edge of the bed her seducing mission high on her head......pakki saw raghav drink the milk ........"..pakki what about milk for you.......is there anymore " yes pakki answered and before she got up raghav walked to the kitchen and poured the spiked milk and gave pakki to drink.........just as gauri rushed in " Yes mum is there something that you want......" asked raghav and for a moment raghav thought he saw gauri eyeing the empty glass beside him........".Eer no son gauri stammered my friend wants a flats I need your help..gauri blurted out" and left the room..........raghav knew she was lying...........Pakki drank the spiked milk in one go and waited for raghav to feel dizzy or sleepy but raghav was wide awake while the spiked milk pakki had was taking its mighty effect.........pakki yawned and felt her eyes cheating on her ..."Raghav I am feeling sleepy. .....I will lie down for a while..."....saying this words pakki swayed to her room..... dropped on her bed and was dead to the world fast asleep....while gauri paced up and down in her roon bitting her nails...............raghav locked his room door and went off to sleep a victorious smile on his lips. ......................to be continued
